The Originals alum Nathan Parsons has joined the cast of Once Upon a Time in a recurring capacity, EW has learned.
Parsons will play Nick, a confident and charismatic slacker-turned-successful-lawyer. He’s polished, but not stuffy or smarmy. A natural guy’s guy, Nick has an instant likability and always says the right thing. Rumor has it he’ll be playing a potential love interest for one of our cast.

Looking at pics of this guy on google, I reckon his skin is far too fair to be able to play Roland. So yeah, I’m throwing my cookies down for him being an adult BabyNamestealer too. FWIW, he’s 29, but by the look of him could pass for several years younger than that. The actress cast as Robyn is 22. Considering how BabyNamestealer was born a little bit before Robyn, I could see those ages fitting. Roland would have to be older if they all aged at the same rate, (which, yeah, I know, who knows LOL).
Baby Neal was only like one or one and a half at the end of the show and Robyn was like a year younger, so the age difference is like nonexistent.

Nathan is only 29 whereas Lana is 40, an eleven year age difference. Therefore, I really don’t think Nathan will play Roni’s love interest. Yes, it is a huge double standard (seeing that EdR is 21 years younger than Bobby), but that is sadly how it usually goes on TV. The exception might be Andrew West (aka Henry Mills) and Dania Ramirez (Jacinda/Ella), but they only have an age difference of about five years, which seems more “acceptable” according to Hollywood’s double standards.
