I don’t think the show will work without Jennifer being in every episode. It will be a completely different show and i don’t get what they are going to do with Hook. Especially if Regina is now the main character. She doesn’t even like Hook and they never interact.

Right, agree. These past few episodes have been Emma-lite and it’s not like the show is hitting it out of the park. The show is at its strongest when it focuses on that micro-core of Emma, Snow, Regina–three multi-generational females with different faults and virtues. If Snow is leaving and only going to be a guest maybe once or twice an episode and if Emma will be relegated to only a handful of episodes, then Regina is all that’s left and while I think Lana does a great job, Regina alone isn’t enough to carry because you need the other two to play off of.

West (probably adult Henry) and Alison’s characters more of the focus for Season 7, while Emma, Hook and Regina are the old guard that get to stick around and still play a role. That would explain why they’d only need Jennifer part-time.
If JMO is a part time series regular(which sounds to be the case) that means she’ll be in way more than just a hand-ful of episodes. Predict somewhere between 15 too 19 episode range.
I still think Jennifer has to be in every episode or the show doesn’t work and i have no clue why Jennifer would agree to be in most of the episodes and not just continue being on the show like a regular. That makes no sense to me. Seems made up.

This is going around. It’s fueling speculation that the show is getting renewed, because it begs the question why Lana would be dressed as the Evil Queen with Scandal’s Kerry Washington? They could be filming the sketch for this year’s Upfronts presentation like they have done the past few years.
