If they can get Jen, Colin, Lana and Bobby to sign on, then I think Season 7 is looking a lot more possible now. I’m surprised that they’re trying to keep that many of the cast on board. I’m also surprised that Bobby is apparently willing to negotiate, but he didn’t outright dismiss the possibility when asked a few weeks ago either.

It is but it’s not unheard of. You hear about down to the wire contract negotiations on shows all the time. It could be money, it could be time, it could be anything.

It is pretty unheard of though for it to be this late in the game and then work out. It is almost like once you start hearing about it, that means the negotiations are stagnating for some reason. Who knows, but i just don’t think they can do the show without Jennifer, Lana, and Robert. It would be bad enough if they lost Jennifer, but they can’t lose all three.

Maybe one of the four is dragging their heels. Bobby or JMo if I had to guess.

Bobby is my bet. JMO said she had no inkling to abandon the character.

Is it possible that Emilie is already a part of it? She didn’t become a regular until Season 2 so perhaps her contract isn’t up until the end of Season 7 which is why they aren’t negotiating with her. I just find it rather odd that they’re negotiating with Robert and not Emilie.

But if I go with that logic, it means that Colin would be in the same sort of position – but here they are negotiating with him.

    I just don’t know.

If the cast are aware that the show probably doesn’t have much of a future left, then I could see a renewal being tempting for financial reasons. If Season 7 gets picked up, they’re guaranteed a steady gig for another year. If Season 7 ended up only being 13 episodes, that would be another plus, since then that would potentially allow the actors freedom to audition for pilot Season next year.

This would also explain Rebecca who isn’t mentioned either. She didn’t become a regular until Season 5.

I think it is Jennifer since she is ready to do other projects. Robert acted like he could go either way, so i don’t think he was as out as Jennifer has been.

Not really a cool thing to do, in terms of releasing this news, if the final say over S7 really comes down to them signing up.  If it doesn’t get renewed then these guys will be getting the blame, which isn’t really fair.

This is from one of the guys that often gets us set pics. It’s possible that he’s been reading these articles but it’s also possible that he’s heard something from someone on set (Like Kat did before it was basically confirmed that Gosh wouldn’t be back).

With what I'm hearing about Once Upon a Time for next season if its true I don't know why they don't just cancel the show or fresh reboot it
