Based on the title for the finale, I’d say we’re not out of the woods yet wrt Gideon/The Black Fairy (though my money is more on Gideon being part of the final battle. )

Put me in the camp of wanting Emma to die.  Also side note: didn’t the writers say we were going to get Savior mythology, especially in this back half of the season?  So expect Emma to realize that while most can change their fate if you truly believe, unfortunately the price of being a Savior and saving everybody, is sacrificing your life.  It can be very bittersweet and I hope that’s the route they take.

You want Snowing to lose their daughter, Regina to lose her friend, Henry to lose one of his mothers, Hook to lose his wife and become a widow almost as quick as he was a husband.

That’s really sick. Buffy didn’t die in the end. So why should Emma? I prefer it to end on a happy note over a crappy note, especially if this is the last season.

The last thing we need is the symbol of hope to die on this show, Emma has always been the symbol of hope.

“Happily Ever After” yeah except for Emma, Hook, Snowing, Henry, Regina, etc. I really hope the show doesn’t go down the route.

Either strip Emma of her savior duties once the final battle is over, curse her(if there’s a S7 so she can come back near the end ala Nine Dobrev in TVD) or send her off with Hook on the JR if this is the last episode of the show.

In the end I think we all know that vision in the premiere is not how it will play out in the finale.

There is no evidence so far that a savior actually has to die. Aladdin didn’t die. I think Emma could die just because she said she was going to die. At this point though, if Emma is going to marry Hook, i don’t really care if she dies or not either.

Well that’s obvious considering you’re a bitter SF shipper.

Aladdin gave his up savior hood to avoid his death.

or send her off with Hook on the JR if this is the last episode of the show.

Id much rather the final moments of the show are more family directed as opposed to CS directed. The entire family together having all gotten their happy endings or whatever eating dinner in the castle they will all share or something like that. All of the minor characters coming back for this scene as well like Archie, Ruby, Mad Hatter, etc.

emma dying still makes sense and I’m not opposed to it though.

Who says it won’t be? They can get together and then go on their separate ways for all we know.

Emma and Hook deserve some private time uninterrupted after everything they’ve gone through. If sailing on the JR gets them that private time then I am here for it.

It’s be a callback to the premiere where they were interrupted by the land of untold story people coming into SB.

…Or it could be a callback to the series premier where Charming and Snow get married. Only this time instead of the wedding being crashed and a curse being set in motion, everything ends in peace with Emma, Hook, and every surrounded by their friends and loved ones.

Its not just about them. The final moments of the show should be a nice send off for everyone.

The end should be all them returning to the Enchanted Forest and being happy together, but Emma is talking about dying and i no longer care whether she lives or dies. It will ruin the show, in my opinion, to kill her off, but that doesn’t mean these writers might not do it.

And *that* is, I think, the big takeaway. It doesn’t matter what the fans think–it doesn’t mean A and E won’t do it. Killing Emma or writing her off isn’t a smart move either way for a variety of reasons but we aren’t inside A and E’s head in terms of how they think. They might go the super bittersweet route (like with Neal) or they might go the super happy ending route (@Michael’s plan). If they know that S7 is the end and they really want to start over at square zero then I think all bets are off in terms of doing “what makes sense for the fans.” It’s all about what they need to do for S7, should there be one.

Also, one more thought: negotiations are just that…negotiations. They aren’t inked named on a line. And the negotiations could be anything from less screen time and a bigger trailer to credit as ex. producer and 250,000/episode. And if ABC doesn’t want to play ball then both parties can walk away.
