…Or it could be a callback to the series premier where Charming and Snow get married. Only this time instead of the wedding being crashed and a curse being set in motion, everything ends in peace with Emma, Hook, and every surrounded by their friends and loved ones. Its not just about them. The final moments of the show should be a nice send off for everyone.
My ending for the series would be Emma on her birthday with her family around her.

There is no way to know what Adam and Eddy might do because they are terrible writers, so they may do the worst thing imaginable. They already have done so. Also, if Jennifer and Ginny and Josh and Robert all want off the show then well, they might kill some of them. The ending isn’t going to be good at this point, no matter what they do, but these writers thinking making random splashy things happen is good writing, so killing Emma is on the table.
And yeah, we have no clue what is going on with these negotiations. They may be done and they are using them to keep the fandom talking. Most of the actors could have made a decision already and one be holding out. It could be about money or producer credits or less episodes or promises that the show ends after seven. It could be lots of things and because outside factors are effecting what might happen in the plot, on top of Adam and Eddy being just bad at writing, that means Jennifer might leave and so Emma might die.
After all, Emma said, “I’m fated to die and i will die, but not today.” She might actually die.
March 15, 2017 at 9:18 pm #334386PheeParticipantEmma will end the season still alive. And we’ll see Adult!Henry, who is now a parent himself, we’ll get just enough of a glimpse at his current life to make us wonder how he came to be who he is, and what horrible death befell the parent who is obviously no longer part of his life. Then they’ll tell the remainder of Emma’s story through flashback (allowing JMo to still collect her paycheque without having to be committed full time, and the level of her involvement is what’s holding up the negotiations), as we gradually see the impact she left on Henry (and the family as a whole) as he grew up. Always building up to the big reveal that we’re all desperate to discover…how did the hero parent die.
Because when your show is tanking in the ratings and you’re unsure if it’s gonna get renewed, you rip off the concept of the highest rating show in forever that got renewed for two seasons when its first was only half done.

If OUAT riffs on TiU, I’m gonna be grouchy. But what you say makes sense.

What show got two seasons in one and ended up going down the dumps. One word. Glee.
And I don’t think they’ll kill off Emma period because this show is ending this season. We’ll know one way or another once we see the ratings for the next two episodes.
After all, Emma said, “I’m fated to die and i will die, but not today.” She might actually die.
Well she’s not immortal so obviously she will die, after a nice long life with her family, her husband, her son, and some future children.

March 16, 2017 at 1:58 pm #334425MichaelBlockedSounds like a Going Home 2.0 situation. Except when Rumple beats his mother his life is taken with him and he’s not coming back.
March 16, 2017 at 3:32 pm #334429WickedRegalParticipantjosh and Ginny not negotiating

This could go either way, but I think OUAT has really lost Ginny & Josh this time.

March 16, 2017 at 3:36 pm #334430MichaelBlockedNo shock to anyone. The storyline was going down that way anyways.
Well if this is like Going Home then I suspect after Rumple dies, a curse comes and separates everyone leaving from everyone staying.
Next season the people that left will come back for an epsidoe or two to wrap up the series and reunite the family.
