Is Robin Hood heading toward a grim fate? If the Internet rumors about Once Upon a Time are to be believed, then yes. But the powers that be behind OUAT want fans to, well, keep hope alive.
First off, executive producer Adam Horowitz took to Twitter on Tuesday to address the growing concern that Sean Maguire will soon be exiting the ABC fairy tale series. “Hey Oncers, some odd rumors out there about Sean Maguire — for the record he is a trusted member of the team a lovely man. The best!”
EW also hit up the OUAT bosses on what they want to say to fans who may be losing hope over Regina (Lana Parrilla) getting a happy ending. “I would say that we were just picked up for another year, so the story continues,” EP Edward Kitsis says. “That’s like being mad in the middle of Hunger Games because she didn’t win. You’ve got to wait until the end of the book.” Adds Horowitz: “Regina’s on a journey that’s going to have ups and downs along the way. We’re in the middle of the story.”

Then again, we’ve seen Roland and Little John leaving, so the chances of that happening is low.

"I offended you with my opinion? Ha, you should hear the ones I keep to myself".

Umm. Adam. That is a horrible comparison. Did he even read the last Hunger Games book? It was seriously the only book that I;ve ever actually read that *doesn’t* exactly have a happy ending…

Well, technically we already lost the “original” Robin Hood, as Sean is the second actor to portray him on Once.
Also, this article doesn’t really address how dark the rumors got–the creators were addressing vicious rumors about the actor, not just fan fears about Robin possibly being killed off.

And since they said they are continuing with this story between Regina/Robin/Zelena for season 6 as well, the. It appears that Robin still lives. And since this report was published after the hotseat where it reveals a major character will die, I am not sure if Robin is the one.

Worth pointing out, this isn’t a real interview with the creators. It’s EW writing an article using tweets/previous interviews and smatterings of interactions with A and E. It’s click bait for a fandom that is currently in chaos, hence the title is very click-baity but the actual “article” isn’t anything at all to do with the rumors and Robin Hood/Sean Maguire. The questions they posed are very telling: it’s not about Robin at all, but about Regina’s HEA which is the “story that is continuing onward” not the R/RH/Z one.

What makes you so sure of that? You don’t honestly truly know that do you? How does that prove what you are saying.
March 19, 2016 at 5:39 pm #319536hjbauParticipantThis isn’t a real article, Nick. They just took the tweet from Adam and made up an article using old information. There is no new interview here. Nick you have made your point, if you don’t believe us then okay.
