Anything Once Upon a Time? — Tranquillity
Sunday’s episode will provide a sense of the closure, with the two-hour finale kicking off a new story for season 6. “Like every year, the two-hour finale is kind of a different piece than the rest of the season, so in a lot of ways, this weekend is the finale for the Hades arc,” executive producer Edward Kitsis says. “I can say that it will break a few hearts.” As for the actual finale, part of it will take place outside Storybrooke. “As much as they’d like peace and quiet in Storybrooke, fallout from this weekend’s episode causes a character to go rogue in New York City,” Kitsis says. “Once again, the heroes are called upon to save the day.”

But *why* NYC? What does that have to do with anything?

It’s as sound and logical of an explanation as any, I guess.

Henry going to New York makes sense because that’s where his dad used to live. Question is: do they acknowledge that fact or just try and brush it under the carpet?

Also New York is know as “the city that never sleeps” so maybe that has some relevance?

If this plot had anything to do with Nealfire, then sure. But it doesn’t. It’s about destroying magic and NYC has nothing to do with that. Unless MacGuffin

How much you want to bet that since Neal was all about anti magic, they will sudden put some MacGuffin on his apartment, that he always had that could destroy magic, bc whatever, LOL.

And it will be another way to demonize him even more.

I don’t think Neal despised magic, he just hated what it did to his dad. Kind of like how alcohol isn’t inherently bad but some people have real problems with it and it would be better if they stayed off the stuff. Neal even used magic himself in season 3 more than once.
