Eva’s silver shoes
This may be nit-picky of me, but Eva’s slippers look satin white there, not metallic silver. However, I do agree they seem significant and do resemble the shoes in panel 2.

Okay, now that I see the shoe, I wouldn’t consider it silver. I was thinking when you mentioned her shoe was silver, it was like a grayish color with a shine or something to make it look silver.
That looks more pink to me. But still very pretty.

Right, they are more satin-y. But the camera stays focused on them for *so long* that it almost seemed random at the time. Now..though…HEEHEHEHEEHEHEHE. (delighted)

I’ve been harping on this little theory for what feels like forever now, so I ain’t gonna lie, I sorta love that those shoes look similar to Eva’s shoes, and if Eva’s shoes DO end up being the actual magical slippers, I will most definitely be claiming cookies. 😛 One more time, here’s the thing I Photoshopped ages ago that has Eva’s “slippers” (she calls them “slippers” herself) with the original illustration from the book.
