Did the book magically appear? Did Henry’s loneliness call the Book into existence? Was it planted there?

I’m thinking it was planted there by someone. I’m starting to wonder about who exactly Christopher Gorham will be playing. We know he’s someone important in the life of Emma. Just how important is he? Did he plant the book in Mary Margaret’s closet to ensure that Henry would come looking for Emma, thereby making her the savior? Who exactly is he? The author of the book?

And of course: one of the biggest questions of them all, after 2.5 seasons…who do you now think wrote the book?

I still think the Blue Fairy knows who wrote the book. Perhaps she even did herself. In the EF flashback to Snow and Charming, the BF let it be known their story would find its way to Emma somehow. How could the BF know that unless she had a hand in writing it or knows who wrote the book? I still think this was all part of the BF’s “final preparation” to ensure Emma would save everyone.

Wait…I just realized something…. the Pinocchio story was in the book when it was given to him by MM, I thought August added the Pinocchio story when he came to town and it wasn’t in there before that?

Emma: And what would that be?

Henry: I don’t know. The story isn’t finished.

Emma: Why would someone go to so much trouble to add a new story, and then not bother finishing it?

Henry: That’s what’s weird. The story’s about Pinocchio. Everyone knows how that ends.

    Hm. You’re right. that’s…bothersome

I like the theory that the book could’ve been written by Blue. Would be a literal translation of the term “fairytale.” Maybe I’ve been watching too many Christmas movies, but I like the idea that the fairies collectively wrote the book together- like they were trying to hurriedly record a personal history before the curse was cast. Like some sort of map or key for the savior.

I can still remember Blue’s words from the premiere episode. She leaves Snow and Charming (I think) so she and the fairies can “make their final preparations” before the curse is upon them. I would like to believe that this line was purposely included as part of the plot and not just a bit of filler.

That line is from The Stranger, actually, which was episode 1×20. So totally not filler. It’s what cemented by belief that Blue wrote the book.
