Hi from my temporary home in Gulfport, Mississippi! I’m snowbirding down here. Ordinarily, I live in the Twin Cities so I’m sure you can understand why I’m here and not there.
I’m a long-time listener but not a lurker. I just came to the site for the first time tonight and figured I’d poke around in the forums they always mention. I’ve been with the show from the pilot and am an active proselytizer of all things OUAT. I’ve been trying to convert my Mississippi family to watch it. So far, the token Navy Seal is my only recruit and he really loves it!
My name is Michelle but Misha works. In my spare time I try to write but that never works how I’d like. There’s always some game that needs playing or grumpy cat that needs posting. I love fairy tales and even took courses in them as well as childrens lit in College instead of the traditional hard lit courses. I never thought they’d be easy and they certainly weren’t. I also took a course in Romantic Middle Eastern Lit (there’s TONS) and read wonderful tales. (Long Live Layla and Majnun!)
Every year, I participate in National Novel Writing Month in November and invite anyone who has not done so to seriously consider doing it. It’s a lot of fun and can really help get people going writing their own stories!
Also, I’d like to apologize now. I’m a grammar Nazi. I have tutored and taught English for years so I don’t have a lot of tolerance for egregious errors. Just FYI.

National Novel Writing Month is a great thing. Maybe this year finally will do it.
