After re-watching episode 3, Snow Falls, I believe that Regina is framing Mary Margaret for Kathryn’s disappearance from SB (episode 13) in a way which parallels what happened in FTL. When Prince Charming entrapped Snow White, he threatened to reveal Snow’s true identity if she did not return the jewels she’d stolen. He then held up a wanted poster which claims she’d committed “Murder, Treason, and Treachery.”

I believe the Regina is framing Mary Margaret for Kathryn’s disappearance in a manner similar to how she most likely framed Snow White for the murder of her father, King Leopold, in FTL.

I hadn’t thought of that connection. But I think in the Storybrooke, the Evil Queen’s plan will fail because we saw where Mary Margaret was: she was at home, crying over David and she was with Emma! I mean, that’s a pretty solid alibi, “I was with the Sheriff.”

David, on the other hand, we never saw where he was when Kathryn went missing.

If we’re to believe that when those two scenes happened at the same time during the episode.

Regina is trying to frame David for the disappearance (not MM.) The next episide, Emma will interrogate David over the whereabouts of Kathryn.

I think initially, Regina wanted to place the blame on the Genie but since he became the Magic Mirror, Snow White became her back-up scapegoat in the murder of her husband, the King aka Snow White’s father.

That’s what I think, was what she was wanted for in ‘Snow Falls.’

I don’t get how Mary doesn’t have a watertight alibi either for Kathryn’s disappearance. I mean she was with Emma at the time.

Interesting slurpeeze108. If Ragina /Evil Queen can’t frame her, then she hurts her. (Snow / Mary Margret) She can’t pin the disappearance of Kathryn on Mary Margret but can on David or anyone away off the beaten trail : our StoryBrooke Fredrick. We still dont know everyone in StoryBrooke, everyone’s a suspect.

I like the thought. If you aren’t opposed to spoilers you can click on the link provided on the press releases for some of the upcoming episodes and it might confirm or reshape your thoughts:)

@ sjm: Yes, there is a definite parallel between FTL and SB. Poor Snow White/Mary Margaret. She just can’t catch a break. I can’t wait until ep. 18 to find out what she did to make the EQ so vindictive!

My mind is still reeling from ep. 15! We know from “Red Handed” that Mary Margret’s finger prints were found on a box containing a human heart (the same kind of box in which Regina kept Graham’s heart in ep. 7). Based on preview for ep. 16, we know that Mary Margaret is on trial for the murder of Kathryn. This seems to corroborate with my theory that Regina is framing Mary Margaret in SB very similarly to how she probably framed Snow White in FTL. I'm interested to know how Regina is planting evidence and what will happen in the trail where Mr. Gold is representing Mary Margaret. We still need to find more of the back story between the Huntsman freeing Snow White (ep. 7) and Snow White being wanted for “murder, treason, and treachery” (ep. 3). This new plot development has me on the edge of my seat wanting more details. Great episode!
