A poster named Lemondrops777 from IMDb, found this from “Skin Deep”, http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i386/lemondrops777/ouat-hand_zps23023092.gif.
I thought it was Hook’s hand too like Lemondrops777 did, but I’m not sure if they’ll change Hook’s missing hand to be his left instead of his right.
Then again, it does make sense given the spoilers about a history between the two of them and perhaps Rumple being the Crocodile that Rumple is the one that cut off Hook’s hand, and that he kept it for a souvenir.
Also, I wish I knew who they cast as Milha because since we never got a name for the actress, more and more I’m thinking it’s just going to be Lana Parilla as Milha since I think it might turn out that Milha was related to Cora and Regina, which is why Rumple went after that family. Barbara Hershey would also work, but I don’t think she’s supposed to be in episode 4.

The hand thing is weird. Maybe Whale is Peter. I definitely think it seems like Rumpel is the Crocodile and took Hooks hand.
September 19, 2012 at 7:33 am #154076SlurpeezParticipant😯 That is truly amazing if Rumpel is indeed the crocodile and cut off Hook’s hand! I’m really going to enjoy this episode, but then, I enjoy all of Rumpel’s backstory episodes. 😉
What if the Blue Fairy is Milha? Just a random thought, but based on an interview with Keegan Connor Tracy in which she personally believed there was a past history between her character and Rumpel.

Couple that with the spoilers for “The Crocodile” that say a bored housewife leaves her husband and child to join a band of theives, I’m going to say that Hook is the man Rumpel’s first wife left him for. And out of revenge, Rumpel chopped off his hand.

Yes and yes! It all fits together perfectly in my head. Really believe that Rumple will be the Crocodile that takes Hook’s hand when he’s out for revenge for Hook’s involvement with his wife. Can’t wait for this ep!

Well I meant Lana Parilla as Milha that way we would know that Milha and Regina were related. Some shows do that especially soap operas. I think it tends to be cheesy, but sometimes it can work out.
It’s just weird imo that they announced the casting for the character, but didn’t later come out and say who got the part even though it wouldn’t really be much of a spoiler if they announced it. I guess maybe it could be an actress that people don’t really know of, so it wouldn’t generate much publicity to do a press release especially if Milha is just going to be in one episode, but then why make a fuss about the role of Milha.

I thought about that, but I’m not sure if Milha then became the Blue Fairy or just looked like the Blue Fairy. I guess it’s possible if Bae is Peter that the Blue Fairy is also Tinkerbell. Plus, it seemed like Keegan Connor Tracy didn’t really know anything, but was just guessing, so that’s another reason I didn’t think they would have her playing two parts.

I think so too except in my theory Milha cut off Hook’s hand because she wanted to go back to her son after running away with Hook, but he wouldn’t let her. (It’s based on Jospehine giving me the idea that the inspiration for Hook and Milha could have came from an English ballad “The House Carpenter”.) Rumple definitely works too though. It could be over revenge, or maybe Hook was trying to steal Bae from him because he thought Bae was rightfully his.
I don’t really know how much Rumple cared for his first wife at all, so while I’m sure he would be upset if she ran off, I don’t know if he would chop off Hook’s hand unless maybe it was after he became the Dark Curse. Now if someone tried to harm Bae or take Bae from him, then I could see a pre-Dark Curse Rumple cutting off someone’s hand.
I really don’t know if they’ll explore the idea of Bae being someone else’s son, but I think it would be an interesting parallel between Rumple and Regina, the lengths that both are willing to go to for their adopted sons if Bae turns out to be Captain Hook’s son.
September 20, 2012 at 4:49 am #154146surayyaParticipantI totally agree with Phee & Midnight Dreary re Rumple & Hook. 😀
Its now been confirmed by Eddy (I think it was), that Regina is indeed the Millers daughter & Cora some how managed to keep her (we should be wondering how that happened, as people who cross Rumps end up dead ❓ ) – maybe Bae isn’t Rumples son as the solider stated/questioned after all, but Regina’s younger brother!?! 💡

I reckon they didn’t announce the actress because they made a point of casting someone who looks like Bae’s mother. If everyone knew who the actress was, and she looks like Bae, it’d all but confirm who the Milha character is gonna be.

This is why I think Rumple will be the Crocodile who takes off Hook’s hand…
…a guy looking like that pops up in Neverland and attacks Hook. You’re part of a ship’s crew, and a creature with scaly coloured skin, long nails, animalistic eyes, wonky teeth, and dressed like Rumple is in that pic, leaps out of the water and attacks your Captain. Someone on the boat yells, “CROCODILE!” coz at first glance, that’s totally what the creature looked like, and henceforth the creature that attacked Hook, whoever or whatever it really was, becomes known as “The Crocodile.”I don’t really know how much Rumple cared for his first wife at all, so while I’m sure he would be upset if she ran off, I don’t know if he would chop off Hook’s hand unless maybe it was after he became the Dark Curse.
Rumple’s wife may have not really been into him much, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he felt nothing for her in return. If she cheated on him, and left him, that would have been around the same time as everyone was beating him down for running from the war. His life would have been falling apart, so I can see him swearing revenge on the man who took his wife, because that would have been the last straw. Also, over the years, as Bae grew up without knowing his mother, it’d break Rumple’s heart every time the poor kid would ask about her. That would make his resentment for the man who took her grow even more.
September 20, 2012 at 11:02 am #154157zlfh4Participanthmm, just a thought what if it was Rumple who killed Cora as of a deal he made with regina, perhaps for magic, or perhaps a way in which to kill the king as well. What if the Genie’s lamp ending up on the beach for King Leopold to find was rumple’s doing? If he can glimpse the future maybe that means he can see what the future will be based on the different choices people make…
September 20, 2012 at 4:08 pm #154163thedarkoneParticipantI’m not sure if Rumpel can really see into the future. There have been a few things that he’s been unable to predict.
I also think that Rumpel is the metaphorical “crocodile” in this story. My theory is that his first wife Mihla left him to have an affair with Captain Hook. She got pregnant, but because she didn’t want to go back to her husband, she simply gave birth to the baby and left him with Rumpel. When Rumpel finally come across Hook again, he chops his hand off as revenge.
I don’t think their marriage was a very happy or loving one, and the original script from “Skin Deep” kind of proves that. When Belle gave Rumpel a rather tender look, he replied “no woman has ever looked at me like that. Not even my wife.” So, whatever happened between them, it wasn’t good. That’s probably why he wasn’t willing to believe that Belle could actually love him. He had his heart broken in the past, so he grew cynical about love.
And has anyone heard any news on the casting for Mihla? Usually, we would have heard something by now. We know who will be playing Hook, Aurora, Philip, and just about every other new character on the show. Even the mysterious new guy in town. But nothing on Mihla. This kind of leads me to think that it’s probably Cora. 😯
