I…have confusion
1) How did Ingrid actually GET into SB? One second she was standing at the line and the next she was just in town.
2) How did Regina not know that some new stranger arrived in her town?
3) How did Ingrid use magic inside SB to take Emma’s memories. Regina’s ring barely worked to make the hat function, so how did the crystal?

Remember, August got into SB without being a victim of the curse either. So while normal people from A Land Without Magic can’t get into SB, anyone who is originally from FTL can.

But she’s not from FTL. She’s from Arendelle (okay, I get what you’re saying…we don’t have a map so it’s hard to know where the boundaries are…but that’s rather fast and loose?)

I’d say Arendelle is still in the same realm (FTL), because you only needed to travel by boat, not by portal. It’s the Enchanted Forest/Mist Haven that is the separate part of the world where most of the FTL characters are, but it’s the same realm.

No no, I totally get what you’re saying and that is probably how it works, so I’m okay with it (not so much the not having to actually walk across the town line…August did DRIVE over).
Now answer the rest of them….

2) This was probably an oversight. I guess she just kept incognito to the best of her abilities. Granted she only cared about August because he was talking to Henry, though she was still alarmed when she noticed Kurt and Owen in town.
3) Most likely you answered your own question. Creating magic from magic. It’s hokey, but it’s not like we didn’t see Regina make a forgetting potion in 309’s flashback and the Dragon using magic outside Storybrooke itself. Though I imagine you have issues with those examples, too.December 7, 2014 at 9:40 pm #292353RumplesGirlKeymasterThough I imagine you have issues with those examples, too.
Only since they deliberately and intentionally showed Ingrid to be magic-less in Boston when she arrived.

Right. Arendelle, Misthaven, and Agrabah, (and possibly “Victorian England”) are all part of FTL, but the curse only took people IN Misthaven (plus Dr. Frankenstein and Jefferson, unless they also ended up in Misthaven somehow — Jefferson could have used the White Rabbit, in theory — granted, this doesn’t explain Regina’s fear that Cora would be taken by the curse, unless she REALLY wanted her dead). All of the magical realms, however, were put in a time haze.

This is what vexes me most, because I remembered this and kept waiting for a scene all episode. Must have gotten cut, which is extremely annoying and one of my few complaints about the episode. Regina got involved and interested in visitors like August & Greg, but some non-cursed stranger opens an ice cream shop and she didn’t have anything to say about it?
Keeper of Zelena's witch hat and the Black Fairy's wand.

Ooooh. I totally forgot about that spoiler. Hmm. scene cut, obviously. But somewhat nice to know that it was addressed
