Anyone care to speculate on the identity of James’ father? He’s mentioned enough times in this episode that it seems likely we’ll see him in a future episode.”

Do you mean Charming’s real father?

I thought the real father had already died as of The Shepherd episode.

It is possible that Charming’s father may be someone important though. There could be an interesting back story. I wonder what they are going to do with the flashbacks next season. I still think they are going to end this season around the time that Snow eats the apple and is asleep in the coffin so maybe they will go a bit past that. There is still a lot of story there though so they could always go into the past and show Charming’s back story as a child. I think that they should make him the first James who switched with the James who switched with the James who died as a child and then when the other James died, Rumpel came to get Charming to take his place. Complicated, but interesting.

I also wonder if young Snow ever met young James as a child. Either the other prince James or our prince Charming. That seems possible.

there’s mention of too many ‘James’ in that one paragraph. 😯 it boggles the mind. 😆

I think it would be sweet if little Shepherd James met lit’le Snow White. it would be so cute!

Sorry i never consider our Prince Charming/David to be James. I always call him Charming and call the prince that died the other prince. I get confused when people call our Prince Charming, James, because we don’t know if that is his name or not.

Since we just finished this episode in our rewatch, I was thinking about this, too. Maybe Charming’s father is someone important. If so, who could he be?

I’m not sure if he’s an important character.
