I am not sure about FGM being ranked higher than Blue, who seemed to lead all the fairies. It is unclear I guess.

Blue is no doubt head honcho fairy, but I reckon once a fairy becomes a FGM, that means Blue can’t just automatically pull rank over her any more. They’re not quite true equals, but they’re as close as anyone gets to being Blue’s equal.

I know quite a few people are thinking that Blue might be the one who kicked Tink out of FTL, but I saw a tumblr post just before that suggested it was Rumple’s doing because Regina couldn’t become his monster if her FGM was still around. Makes sense IMO.

The dress that Regina is wearing in the picture is the same dress Regina wore in 2×2 “We Are Both” when she  first summoned Rumplestiltskin.

It was before she went dark and became Rumple’s monster, which leads me to conclude that Regina might have been consulting Tinker Bell, her fairy god-mother. Hoping to avoid using the dark magic that Cora dabbled in, Regina might have hoped to escape her mother with the help of a fairy. However, maybe Tink was in cahoots with the BF not to help Regina, since the BF might have wanted the curse to be cast for some unknown reason. Perhaps Tink was working with PP to help ensure the curse would be cast. Or maybe Rumple sent Tink to NL to have Regina all to himself.

Eh gad this thread exploded while I was out, didn’t it.

    Trying to catch up

    1) Yes this flashback is probably before she summoned Rumple and married the King. I’m thinking she used Rumple as a last resort when Tink “Could’nt” give her what Regina wanted, a way out.

    2) HE: the fairy’s are small when in the air. As soon as they step on ground, they become human sized, it happened that way in Price of Gold.

    that’s possible.

I don’t think TB was a fairy GM, she was just a fairy like the BF was she must have found TB information perhaps in Cora’s book. Other wise how would she known about TB?

HE: just saw your question about the bag around Tink’s midsection.

It is probably fairy dust in there. The fairies carried something similar when they attacked the castle to free Charming. They took dust out of the bag and threw it at the guards. The question is: is it good dust or bad dust?

But Blue isn’t just a fairy. She’s the head of all fairies. She probably has FGM responsibilities or did at one point, but got a promotion or something like that. And Ella’s FGM was the patron of George’s house so it makes sense that another fairy would be patron to Regina’s family, this time Tink.

If Tinker Bell is Regina’s fairy-godmother, then Tink probably would have appeared to Regina, not the other way around. In 1×4 “The Price of Gold” Cinderella didn’t know her fairy god-mother either; she simply wished out loud that her life would change and her fairy-godmother simply appeared to her (right before Rumple blew her up). Also, it could be that Tinkbell sought out Regina in order to discourage her from using fairy magic, as a means of nudging Regina towards a path that would lead her to become Rumple’s pawn in casting the dark curse.

I agree. Tink said she couldn’t help out Regina with her problem so Regina turned toward Rumple to solve her problems. Tink set her up per PP’s instructions.

It looks to be like this is after Regina is married, and perhaps was talking to Tink about getting rid of Snow but Tink befriends Snow instead.
