I just watched a fantastic “movie” of all the Rumpy scenes edited together into an hour and half chronological timeline on YouTube. One line stuck out to me as I watched the scenes from “Skin Deep”. Belle is asking about what happened to Rumpy’s son. He says, “There was a son. I lost him….as I did his mother.”. We didn’t know then what we know now. Bae was “lost” down a magic bean tornado/vortex. Can we maybe guess that Rumpy’s wife was “lost” to him by magically means? And if so, did she go to other world?
Btw, if you want to watch it on YouTube, search for All the Rumplestilskins by Baelish.
Rumpel lost Bae because of his cowardice and I think his wife left him for the same reason.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixI still think that Rumpel may have killed Bae’s mother. That was my impression when i first watched the episode. Maybe not though. If the character is dead then she cannot be reintroduced, so maybe she is living. I actually think that they should kill some of the side characters as an explanation for how the characters are who they are. And they have done that with Daniel and Peter, but they were both introduced and dead in the same episode.

I think she was talking about the manner in which he lost them. She was aksing if magic involved in their disappearance. 😉
Right….Midnight. It was the way he said it. It made me wonder if it was a set-up by the writers for a pay off. Something to explain…If and/or when she shows up.
