If no one has ever entered Storybrooke before Emma, how did Mr. Clark’s store stay stocked up?

I think the Dharma Initiative has periodic air drops of supplies. How else are they going to get all their Apollo bars.

That is a valid question, though we’ll probably will never get an answer to that.

My first thought was that the curse somehow magically transported everything to the stores (magic can’t make food, only transform it), but where would it come from? I doubt it would be just stolen from somewhere …
Maybe – based on the theory of FTL being under Storybrooke – the ingredients and metal, etc are all taken from FTL, transformed to modern products and placed into the shops or whoever is in charge of delivery. 🙂

I don’t think Henry said people never came to SB. I think what he said is people don’t stay. So It is possible Mr. Clark gets deliveries if that’s the case. 🙂

Wait, no. I’m pretty sure Henry did say that no one comes to visit Storybrooke. He said it again right before the Stranger showed up, didn’t he?

Yep, no one had ever come to StoryBrooke, Emma was the first one.
Emma looked at Henry and said, ” I thought you said people don’t come to StoryBrooke.”
Henry looked at her and said, “They don’t.” That was the night the stranger came.

As for the food it must be magic, but no one in StoryBrooke would be the wiser because they can’t leave and therefore don’t know how the rest of the world works.

He probably just has like a hammerspace storage room that is always full of the things he puts on his shelf.

Since Mr. Gold owns it and he got Henry, could he be the one buying the stuff to stock it?

I had a theory awhile back that the curse is a ‘living’ curse; like why Maine? Why did they happen to end up in Maine? Maybe, if there’s no supply trucks that come in and out of Storybrooke, then everything (food in Granny’s diner, stuff in Mr. Clarke’s store) are things manufactured by the curse. Which would mean, that would never run out of supplies because the curse would constantly be restocking everything.
