You have put quiet some work in this impressive time line. Thank you for sharing.

April 24, 2013 at 6:39 pm #188392KebParticipantYou’re welcome. And yeah, I use the freeze panes stuff all the time–also split the screen so I can work with both the fairybacks and the present timeline at the same time. I don’t have nearly enough of the parallels in, but I add them as I discover them.

Thank for sharing. Very awesome resource you made 😀
April 25, 2013 at 3:47 am #188518daybreak_fairyParticipantKeb, I wanted to ask you a couple of questions about some parts of your timeline (FTL part).
1- Why is Jack & the beanstalk story before Belle goes with Rumple?
2- So we know for a fact that 1 year after Dreamy was born, he met Nova. In your timeline you have the huntsman sparing Snow’s lives before Dreamy is born & then Snow meeting Red after Dreamy becomes Grumpy. So you believe that Snow was alone for 1 year?
3 – Why is Jefferson’s & Grace’s story after Charming breaks Snow’s sleeping curse?I ask these questions because those parts are the ones that I’m not 100% sure of where to put them in my timeline. You may have noticed something that I missed so that’s why I’m curious.
4- I think that your Hansel & Gretel part is a little early. According to my notes, Hansel & Gretel did their story in 1 day, the same day that Snow received the letter from Charming (when she almost drank the potion) & sneaked in the castle to talk to him. I got that because in H&G, Regina sees Snow with the dwarves & that Snow scene is exactly the same one after Stealthy died & Snow’s crying about lying to Charming.
– Little detail I’ve thought about before. I think Emma was conceived the night after the real Snow-Charming wedding (Lancelot episode). Don’t know if that helps but I’m pretty sure that they didn’t wait until the fake wedding in front of the kingdom to you know… But I don’t know that’s just my opinion.
Thanks in advance for answering my questions. My timeline is just the FTL part & I tend to use objects & things like time of day & other small details to put the pieces together. I’m typing it down in my laptop in order to put it in the forums so that way people can see it & maybe some of my things can help them with their own timelines. And again, you have a very nice timeline 🙂
April 25, 2013 at 3:53 am #188522PheeParticipantKeb, I just loaded your timeline and my eyes bugged out. 😯 Once they’re back in their sockets, I’ll have a close look at all the details. Impressive job!

1- Why is Jack & the beanstalk story before Belle goes with Rumple? The only sure thing we know about Jack’s tale is that it happened before James died (but obviously after he grew up). I had to pick somewhere to put it, and based my decision on a couple things. First, despite the fact that time froze for 28 years, Jack’s corpse is just skeletal when Emma encounters it. No clue how long it takes for a corpse to become a skeleton, but that suggested that some time had passed. Anton seemed to have been alone for some time with his bitterness and grief. And lastly, James got away with some significant booty, but the kingdom was desperately broke again by the time Charming got “hired” to replace James. So I figured I’d give James and George a little time to spend the cash.
I don’t think there were any other specific clues for its place in the timeline, but I also figured it would feel more crowded post-Belle. After all, if we go on the assumption that Snow IS the same age as Emma when Emma’s born, then there’s a lot of time to fill before Belle goes to the Dark Castle. I’ll happily move it if I get evidence that it happened closer to the curse.

That might be off, but I think that Snow looks to be only 18 or 20 when Leopold was killed. That gives us 8-10 years before the curse, and Snow had to have been on the lam much of that time. I think you’re right that Snow probably wasn’t on her own for quite that long–might have to adjust those events.

Chiefly because Grace doesn’t seem to have aged at all, so it seems to be closer to the curse. I think the key clue there is when we can pin down Henry Sr.’s presence in FTL–but we have no idea when he wound up in Wonderland or why, either. With a lot of the more independent stories in FTL, I’m not sure where to put them.

Yeah, I think I had a note linking the two and I was going back through the episodes to be sure. But you’re absolutely right about that link, and I’ll be moving things accordingly.

I agree that they probably didn’t wait for the formal wedding, but there’s also a whole war between the private and public weddings, the length of which we aren’t sure of. The only thing we know for sure about Emma’s conception was that it happened 8-9 months before the curse, and pretty close to Alexandra’s (and therefore probably close to Ella’s and Thomas’s wedding–since I don’t see any evidence that she was conceived before they got married). Not that there’s anything wrong with your headcanon!

April 25, 2013 at 5:26 am #188544KebParticipantOh, and the line right before the date stuff usually has my reasoning behind the choices, if people are curious. And sometimes it really is just arbitrary.

Ok, I like your reasoning they are all good points. I really didn’t think about the time it could have taken James & George to go bankrupt again. 🙂

I was thinking that maybe Snow could have spent a year with Red. To me Snow didn’t look so “tough” as when she met Charming, so I was thinking that maybe she did some kind of training after meeting Red. But I think that the next episode may shed some light in that part of the timeline.

April 27, 2013 at 12:18 am #189044KebParticipantSo I’ve decided to put the curtain scene in Skin Deep before Robin Hood shows up in my timeline. I know, I know, the dress. Somehow it makes more sense that she’d have more than one dress and the other be in the wash though, than that the curtains were nailed up after Robin Hood left. And while they do seem a little more friendly in the curtain scene than they do at the start of Lacey, it makes more sense that he’d tell her he does his best thinking then AFTER he’s already quipped about forgetting when he spins…so it fits.
Arguments otherwise?
