I was thinking that little girl was the Lion… They met her in the forest, and she seems like she’s scared a lot… (She’s just a little kid, so obviously she’s scared….)
I actually kinda like that idea. Dorothy teacher her how to be brave.
Yes! I had forgotten that little girl’s fear levels. Good point!
But the princess is hiding behind a mask. This is also a type of fear. Unless of course, her face is not only deformed but touched by a curse. Maybe something bad happens to whomever sees it, something more than ”omg shock horror so ugly”. lol

-I think Dorothy is Ozma, or an Ozma-esque character, and that Tip is the replacement for the Wicked Witch of the East, because they need all 4 witches for balance. I think Tip is being used to keep us guessing as to who is Ozma.
I really don’t want them to do this. Tin Man did this type of story well, but it used new characters.February 3, 2017 at 9:59 pm #333100
–I quite liked this episode. There’s a lot of mystery and some pretty interesting twists. I do have a few complaints though, mainly there are too many threads/too many ideas/too many characters. It’s coming together but they need to pick up the pace on certain fronts.
–I still think Dorothy is really bland.
–Having the Wizard’s flashbacks gives him some humanness. Even if that humanness isn’t fantastic.
–Dr. Jane created Jack/the Tin Man; nice circular story there. But how did she end up with Ev?
–I find I need to constantly comment on the costumes and scenery.
–Ev’s mask looked particularly “Lion” tonight. I think the theory that she’s the Cowardly Lion is right."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 3, 2017 at 11:03 pm #333102
If they thought this episode would make me feel sorry for the Wizard, or hold some sort of sympathy….they failed. Vincent is beyond brilliant playing the Wizard, but I really want Glinda and West to hang his character from the gallows!
@rumplesgirl, you are 100% right, Dorothy is still bland as heck! The actress is doing the best she can and she hits certain scenes out of the park, but geez, it’s like watching a Dollar Tree version of Emma Swan. And the relationship between her and Lucas, I’m a little interested, but not over the moon thrilled with, so if he leaves her for Glinda…it really wouldn’t phase me.
Lady Ev has definetly tied with West as the most intriguing character to me at the moment. It’s so much mystery to her, and even though she’s full of feistiness, there are sparks of vulnerability there as well. However…a part of me still ships Jack with Tip, so I’m in a bit of a tug o war at the moment in that love triangle.
Poor Ana…just poor Ana. The one girl who wasn’t a spy for Glinda ends up taking the fall.
Eammon, I really want to know more about his story! Who he really is and whose side he’s really on….and not gonna lie, even though this was their first time speaking to one another, my feels tugged a little seeing him and West on screen together and sharing a little banter. I’m fighting the urge to ship this as hard as I can, so y’all pray for me!
Overall the episode was pretty good!

I think Eamonn is supposed to be Omby Amby…February 13, 2017 at 6:59 am #333202
-So it looks like Tip could be Ozma afterall
-Loving the slow pace of Emerald City; wish OUAT was more like this.
-Jury is still out on who the Lion is. I am still saying that it could be the blonde princess-now-queen. Another candidate is now the beast that is prophesied, maybe. What if they are one and the same, and the blonde lady in the mask doesn’t know who she really is/what she could become? The King of all Beasts is actually a queen?
-Cringed when they referenced ”somewhere over the rainbow” lyrics.

Soooo…Lucas and Glinda???"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 14, 2017 at 11:17 pm #333228
Soooo…Lucas and Glinda???
I don’t buy it…..I think her kiss put a spell on the guy so she can make him think they are lovers so as to trap him. But if is true, I have to wonder….is Lucas the father of all those children? Like, what if Glinda learned how to breed witches and he and Glinda are just going about it like rabbits to build their army of witches. That would explain why Sophie likes him. She’s his daughter.
But no matter which way it goes, I don’t trust glinda. She’s the Blue Fairy of this show.
Was it just me or was this episode incredibly more…uh…erotic(?) than the others. Dorothy and Lucas making tacos, Langwedere and Jack in the forest…. Jack and Langwedere in the bedroom…Glinda and Lucas kissing. It was a bit weird.
I’m totally here for it.

So Glinda and Rowan are married?
Lots of little girls are being tortured?
And…Tip really is Ozma?
And…what on earth with the Wicked Witch of the West???"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 20, 2017 at 3:21 pm #333365
