Anyone wanna hazard a guess as to how Wyatt’s very dead wife is alive??
No idea but completely happy that they did this. This is what I have been asking for all along. When one thing changes it should change several things in the future. So like Sci-Fi Girl stated it was probably some random guy who got killed in Hollywood that was related to the killer. It was probably the most excited I have been about this show in a long time, I loved the twist.

Alternate theory:
Maybe Lucy’s mother did it on purpose to distance Lucy from her team, and try to lure her back. No idea how she did it, but if it was her then there is more weirdness on the way.

I’m hoping Rittenhouse orchestrated it and that Wyatt’s wife has been Rittenhouse all along. That way Wyatt and Lucy can stay together, it’s a great twist, and it shows Rittenhouse can “bring back the dead” which is an element that adds a whole new can of worms.

Has Wyatt had a chance to say Anakin’s famous line? They like that sort of thing on this show, like the Doctor Who “Turn Left” reference in 2×08.

All the team needs to do is make it happen exactly as Jiya saw it — no more, no less — just like history recorded the destruction of Gallifrey.

I think the original plan for those characters must’ve been something else, like Mom Lucy and Dad Wyatt sending their son back in time for his protection, but the actor-chemistry between these two keeps their screentime together interesting regardless.
Overall, though, I’m really missing last season’s evolving 3-way dynamic between the white hats, the anarchists, and the shadowy conspirators. I think we’re all expecting Lucy’s mom to break with Rittenhouse at some point, but with two episodes left there’s no time for that to be an ongoing plot. She’ll probably just be the person to press the series-reset button that Lucy wished for in 2×07.

That finale was incredible. Cue all my angst if Timeless doesn’t get renewed for a third season.

There has been no word officially yet. It’s going to come down to money and how much Sony is willing to shell out. I will say, the fan campaign to save the show and get it renewed is very vocal.
Also, the fact that NBC hasn’t said one way or the other is giving me some hope that they are really hammering out a deal for the show.
