Beaman, a criminal who deals in stolen antiques. This role may be recurring.

How did Mr. Gold come to collect antiques? Could he have gotten his spoils from this Beaman character? After all, the sign on Mr. Gold’s shop reads, Pawnbroker and Antiques Dealer:

That would actually make a lot more sense than just all these HIGHLY important items showing up in one location that Rumple/Gold just happens to own. If Beaman has been dealing with Gold for 28 years, I’m still on him being Hook rather than Baelfire (who wouldn’t be in town to collect them/under the curse). If Beaman is Hook, that could explain why he enters the shop in the promo. After 28 years of visiting to sell to Gold, when he finally gets his memory back he could remember seeing his Hook in Gold’s shop!

Yes, that’s a similarity that makes me think the two character’s stories must be linked in the past somehow. I translated “stolen antiques” as “pirate treasure” when coming up with my BeamanHook theory.
