Is that magazine on sale yet?!

Yes, I believe it went on sale May 6 in the US, though I haven’t gotten my own copy yet.

I think Hook/Bea relationship will be like Severus Snape/Harry Potter. Snape loves Lily (Harry Potter’s mom), and it is a very beautiful true love that has never faded with time or disappointments–even more than decades after her death. Also Snape hates James (Harry Potter’s dad).

Regardless the extreme hate for Harry Potter’s dad, the true love wins out and Snape always watches over Harry for the sake of Lily. I think love will win over hate when it comes to Hook in regard to Bae, since he could not even destroy the shawl that Milah made for Bae

Oh, good connection. It did briefly cross my mind that Hook might be similar to Snape especially if it’ll be revealed that he’s playing double agent/switch sides in the finale. Oh, and apparently Alan Rickman, the actor who played Snape also played Hook! 😮 It’s in the blurb of other actors who played Hook in that OUAT magazine but I can’t find it listed under IMDB so I don’t know if it’s a mistake.

If I remember ring in the Harry Potter book, Snape switch to the bad side to help kill Harry.

Snape did work for Voldemort but when he realized Voldie was after Lily he became a member of the order of the phoenix (Dumblerdore’s facton) to protect Harry. Everything he did was to protect Harry.

Snape killed Voldemort and switch to the evil side at that time, he didn’t help Voldemort or Henry anymore if I remember right. I don’t remember who killed Snape Also, Harry’s Dad saved Snape and therefore Snape owed him

No, Snape did not kill Volide. I think you mean Dumbledore, who yes, Snape killed but that was because Dumbledore asked him to. And then Snape joined the Death Eaters as Volide’s second in charge because that was his mission. He was a double agent.

This got really off topic. The point is the parallel between the two. Snape loved Lily so much he was willing to protect Harry even though Snape hated Harry’s dad with a passion.

Incidentally, the mini-series “Neverland” did something very similar for their Hook/Peter. 🙂

Yes they did (and if you haven’t seen it i HIGHLY recommend it. I loved it, thought it was one of the better modern adaptations of PP)

Rickman played an actor named O’Hara playing Hook in a stage play. It’s called “An awfully Big Adventure” and was around 1995. Whatever weirdness in the family tree we’ve had in OUAT has nothing on what happens there, so I hope there is nothing of that performance in terms of future OUAT plots. Let me just leave it at that but go google it if you want to be slightly disturbed.

Anyway, I am absolutely expecting Hook to have befriended Bae, and to have taught him all his thievery and sailing skills. I also think something in those flashbacks will parallel modern day SB where Hook saves the day by betraying GOAT and revealing he has the third bean after they escape using the 2nd one.

Access: How big of a revelation is that going to be to Hook (who Bae is)? Does it excite him?
Colin: It’s complicated because Hook obviously loves Milah, Bae’s mother, and he has this incredible hatred for Bae’s father, so it’s kind of a complicated thing. It’s interesting to sort of see Hook and… it’s pretty incredible that he happens to pull Baelfire out of the sea, considering his relationship with both parents, so you get to see a different side to Hook and a slightly deeper layer and I think people are gonna be really happy with that.

It makes me really happy just to read about it in an interview, I’m gonna be beside myself when I actually see Hook and Bae interacting! I’m actually more eager to see this part of the story than I am the stuff with the failsafe.
