K & H may not be linguists but Jane Espenson is. We’ve known for a long time that Cora can walk the Underworld. That’s enough to keep me looking for connections. I don’t see Demeter though. She was the goddess of grain and her followers were baptized in bovine blood. Cora is known as the Miller’s daughter. That does make for an interesting connection between her and Persephone. Persephone’s mom is Demeter the Goddess of Grain. Cora’s father is the one that crushes grain into flour.

Great premier for second half of season and we ended the episode with Cora right back as the Miller’s daughter. It looks as if that connection with Persephone is a good possibility.
