In Henrys fairytale book there are numerous pictures and texst from the two fairytales “the Golden bird” and “Snow White and Rose Red”

These two fairytales are the ones that are depicted most it seems. You can see the pictures on ‘onceuponatimefansite’ under spoilers, book of fairytales.

Why do you all think that is ??

Maybe the powers that be wanted to show text and pictures of stories that are vaguely familiar to a lot of the viewers. That way, they’d be instantly recognizable as fairy tales without distracting from whatever was actually happening in the plot of the show.

Hm… actually i think there is a lot more to it. Take ‘the Golden bird’
    This fairytale has:
    -apples with a speciel meaning
    -A Savior Bird
-A brave boy whom goes to look for the bird
-A Royal who is cursed because of the loss of love

    It fits perfectly 🙂
