So I keep asking myself will Henry really die? If yes, is he foreshadowing what Emma must eventually do to break the curse? Or will Emma’s true love for her son, save him? I am bracing myself for Henry’s death. I am so sad at that thought.
It’s a sleeping potion, remember? He never dies. They kept saying it. Male-what’s-her-name gave Regina the sleeping potion. Regina said she meant for Emma to sleep. Yet I bet everyone thinks Henry’s going to die. He’s in a coma. The apple was never poisonous.

Henry is in a coma. But because we’re in a land without magic, and it seems like Henry’s dead (remember, Snow had no breath when she ate the apple) they’re going to declare him dead, and want to bury him, etc. But Regina knows that he’s NOT dead, and the only way she can keep them from doing it is to come clean in some way about the curse.
It is the flat line sound in the promo that Henry is dead. Perhaps he is only in a FT sleep. I really don’t know.
I believe Henry is just in a magic sleep and not dead. Just as EQ told SW, “You’re body will be your tomb and you’ll be in there with nothing but dreams formed of your own regrets.” The apple is not poisoned, it’s magicked. As Gold says to Regina when she declares her (premature) victory, “You made magic from magic.” In FTL, Red checks SW breath against the dagger. No fog showed. IMO, if FTL characters had known (or thought) to check for a pulse, they most likely wouldn’t have found one. It’s basically the magical equivalent of sleep paralysis or being “locked-in”. Henry is clearly in the same state as SW was so in the ‘real world’ (ie SB residents), he will appear dead.
