Another thought is that Rumpel hates fairies, but he also has a thing against nuns in general. According to the Evil Queen, clerics tried to cleanse Belle’s soul and helped lead to her “suicide”. So maybe on top of his bitterness or competition with fairies he hates anything associated with the “death” of Belle. It may be just my shipper heart talking but I thought is was worth mentioning.

Wow. That is very complete and actually sounds plausible. I almost hope it isn’t the case because I hate spoilers. Even though I know it’s not a spoiler per se, I would be bummed to know what is coming before it happens!

I think it is likely that whatever the fairies did probably has something to do with Bae, but i doubt that they are going to do Peter Pan.
When Mr. Gold said that they there is a lot of history between him and the faeries (well nuns), it immideately peaked my boyfriends’ and mine’s interest. I don’t think it’s just him killing Cinderella’s fairy godmother. There’s more stuff going on there.
Maybe, Rumple went to the faeries to help him find or save Baelfire and the faeries refused to do with business with him. Or, maybe he went to them to break the Dark One’s Curse and they said something to the effect of, ‘the power of the Dark One’s Curse is too powerful to break, not even fairy magic can undo.’

Ha! I like that!! That may be part of it!
I forgot about that part. Yup, that would be a very good reason for Rumple to hate the nuns/faeries.
This is just an idea, but maybe Rumple’s problem with Fairies has to do with Belle? how did she end up at that bar, as the only human and the only girl? Maybe the fairies took her to keep her from him, and that is his beef with them?
