Hmmm. But that’s so passive. I want him to be actor in his redemption story, not the object that something is done to in order to elicit a change. The second option seems a bit more active but I don’t think Rumple wants to stay in this land unless Belle and Bae stay too. Retuning to FTL seems more like a S4/S5 thing so in the meantime I’d like for him to try on his own, with the help of Bae and Belle.

He shouldn’t have help he is a man and he needs to man up and handle this himself what I think is that all you Rumble fans like him as the dark one instead of the coward that he was am I right?

I like Rumplestiltskin, in every iteration. Whether he is the coward of A Desperate Soul or at his most Dark One crazy self in The Thing You Love Most.
And what I said in my post is that he needs to be the active agent who makes a decision to change. But no one in this world is alone, and we all deserve help from those we love. He can do it with Bae and Belle by his side, but the choice must be his.

Agreed I love Rumpelstiltskin before he was the Dark One, as the Dark One, and as Mr. Gold, and however else we’re going to see him. I just love the whole character. Just like I love Regina as her normal self AND as the Evil Queen.
And just like RG said, he needs people by his side to help him find the right way – just like Regina needs Henry to help her. But it’s been made obvious that both of them have to do it by themselves, Henry can’t do it for Regina and Bae/Belle can’t do it for Rumple.
I just love the characters on this show! So complex and you have equal reasons to love them or hate them haha. Except for GOAT. They need to go.

Looks like I need to stop leaving for a little bit cause new things keep on coming! Surprised there are so many sneaks compared to last year but this finale looks just as epic (and I LOVE the fact that Colin is so excited for it he’s hoping to be able to live-tweet it!)

Ok, so…I agree with any and all who said that this is clearly before he actually talks to Bae. Once he realizes who he is he’ll have to make a choice and I think that choice will be to protect him, at least it better be. The line of thinking I’ve been getting from the interviews etc about Hook’s past are that he’s made some bad mistakes over the years but that he’s trying to make ammends and we should be seeing a different side of him. Hoping that this isn’t one of those mistakes and that the only mistake might be not being to protect him but at least trying, vs just handing him over. The fact that he’s looking at a picture of Milah gives me hope. It also leads to that picture we got of Hook smiling at Bae and Bae is holding a picture of what we guessed back then to be Milah – BONDING MOMENT *I hope*

So…who drew the picture of Milah if Hook has it? I don’t remember seeing anybody draw it but it’s been awhile since I’ve seen any Milah episodes. I always thought maybe Bae would have drawn a picture of his mother and Hook would see it but it sounds like it’s the other way around – otherwise Hook would have been in face asking how he had that picture yada yada.

As for other characters, like Rumple…I love seeing both sides (or multiples in his case) of most of the characters and I root for them when they do good things and I feel for them when they’re sad and I get angry with them when they do bad things. Perfectly natural (although I will agree that I just hate GOAT and unlike some of the other villains we’ve seen, including Cora & King George, I just don’t see anything positive or redeeming in them to ever make me feel sorry for them, even having seen Greg as Owen. I hate that because I feel like I’ve been pretty good about giving most of the characters a chance to win me over and some certainly have but I’m over GOAT, they need to just go.)

It does look that way. I suppose everyone who is not core cast stays in SB and guards it against further outsiders? I still doubt we’ll see much of SB in S3.
