[adrotate group="5"]I go back and forth about how this will end. Either, everyone that’s not Core Cast stays in SB and we see them very infrequently. OR somehow everyone who is not Core Cast gets transported back to FTL to recolonize their home world and we still only see them occasionally.

I was wondering the same thing. I think the picture of Mlah and Hook explaning their relationship and about how Hook saved Bae from Felix and the Shadow is what causes Bae to stay in NL and become a pirate. And together he and Hook try to rescue the Lost Boys

Agreed on all counts!
Also they’re going to have to explain away at least some of the background cast not being there. Meghan Ory’s show was picked up (which I’m happy about – glad to see Josh Holloway (Sawyer from Lost) back on my screen but it will take a lot of time away from seeing Red / Ruby I’m sure).
I can see if SB is somehow saved that a lot of the people that the core cast trust will be left behind to care for the town (almost said kingdom but that’s the line of thinking for them I’m sure – take care of the rest of their “subjects”) while they’re away. I’m sure that character-wise Granny, Ruby, the dwarfs etc etc would love to help…but sometimes more numbers aren’t better, especially for stealthy missions which this could end up being. The less people to worry about in a new land the better. (I just want Grumpy to say something about pirates…or the ship…or both).

I mean, King George is still at large and who knows if any other people will wander into Storybrooke. Someone or some people they trust would have to be there to keep everyone safe and take care of things.
