A new interview with Adam and Eddy reveals some news about Peter Pan!

Fans have been speculating a lot about Neal and his connection to Hook—perhaps in the form of a boy who never grows up?
Eddy: Yes, we could say so far, nobody’s been right.
Adam: Well, that we know of. Our fans are very smart, and maybe they’ve got it, maybe they haven’t, but we hope it’s a surprise. We can confirm he’s not Smee.
Eddy: By the way, I don’t know if you know this or not, but rewatching Peter Pan, which we’ve done on numerous times, the clock, Big Ben, is set to 8:15 in the movie. It’s at 8:14, and when the kids land on it, it goes to 8:15. [NOTE: 8:15 is the time the town’s clock in Storybrooke was stuck at before Emma appeared in the first episode of season one.]

You’ve said that a new character will be teased but not revealed until Season Three.

That last question and answer. We got the two girls to see: if one is Wendy and one is Ariel then the one we hear about must be Pan and the one we think about must be Tink?

I think the person we’ll hear and think about, but not actually see until S3, is Peter Pan, since it’s been stated before. But I also know for a fact we’ll also meet Tinker Bell in S3!

In our first Lightning Round, you teased Tinker Bell was a possibility. Will we finally see her?

And I think those two new young actresses, Laine MacNeil and Freya Tingley, could totally be Tink and Ariel!

Last year you mentioned you wanted to put in Mulan, and she’s awesome. You’d also mentioned Pocahontas and potentially Ariel. Any chance they may pop up?
Eddy: Ariel could potentially be a Season Three. We’re definitely going to meet new characters.
Adam: We don’t want to give away who we’re planning to meet yet, but…
Eddy: If you watch the finale, you can probably guess who would be there.

Oh right! I forgot about the Tink confirmation! So then the little blonde girl (Laine) must be Tink and the Freya must be playing Ariel (because I refuse to believe anything else at this point!)

Totally on board with this thought. It’s such a unique opportunity for the producers to mash-up the Little Mermaid with Neverland’s own mermaid lagoon. 😀

That’s the first time they hint that there’s more than just Greg and Tamara as outsiders interesting in seizing Storybrooke’s secrets.

Yes, that’s very quizzical. I wonder who they work for–perhaps a research facility at a private company, a university, or a secret government agency. Greg Mendel is a clear nod to the 19th-century geneticist, Gregor Mendel.

I thought they stated before that no Tink so that left only Wendy or Ariel left.

You know what I don’t understand Rumble stated that the final battle would begin after the curse was broken the only battle we have seen is him and Hook so where are the rest of the bad guys/good guys ❓

We’ve seen Cora too.

But I think the final battle is a series end kind of thing. There needs to be smaller battles before you get to the great war, sort of deal.
