I wonder what Bae was doing in the six months between going through the portal and meeting Wendy. He didn’t want to be sent to the workhouse, yet how did he know what a workhouse was since he was from a different land.
What if Bae is Once’s version of Oliver Twist? Disney did Oliver and Company which is based on Oliver Twist. Oliver ran with thieves before being taken in by a rich family. Maybe we will meet Once’s version of the Artful Dodger someday.
I think you’re right with Oliver Twist. I think it’s likely that Bae met some other orphan boys and learned about London workhouses and London in general and then at some point broke with them.
It might be worth noting that in the recent Sci-Fi adaption of PP Neverland Peter was the leader of a bunch of orphan boys (like the Artful Dodger) who worked for Hook. I think it must be Laine MacNeil, who was cast around the same time as Freya Tingley (however, her character is still a mystery). But, it could be they mean Peter Pan, since we’ve only seen his shadow, not an actual boy.
Given that Wendy mentioned both mermaids and fairies in SSTR, I think Lanie is going to be on of those creatures. And if Bae is on Hook’s ship and a pirate…mermaid might make more sense??
I’m personally in favor of meeting a little mermaid. 😉
Oh, I also really like the idea of street urchin Baelfire also being little Oliver Twist, but poor Bae! 😥

What about Tinkerbell or did they say they won’t have one ❓

I think the two leading contenders for Lanie MacNeil’s character are Ariel or Tink. She’s probably going to be one of those.

No definites on WHEN that might happen but I think it’s one we’ll definitely see at some point and could very well be hinted at next week along with a slew of other Neverland characters we’re likely to officially meet in S3.

Interesting idea! I like it. Would show Emma using her magic again and in full force. The idea that she’s taking some dark and bringing it back to the light is a good image. (And of course I like the idea that even if SB does end up being destroyed at least the people will be safe).
Edited to add: Emma is the town’s savior, she’s supposed to be able to save them, not just let them all die. So *fingers crossed* she finds a way and I like your idea of how!

May 6, 2013 at 9:10 pm #191660RumplesGirlKeymasterI agree, I think Emma is going to be responsible for saving the townsfolk but not the town. I think she will be able to send everyone who isn’t going on the JR back to the EF.

I like my idea on what Emma will do and because of her saving the town she loses Henry, what is Rumbles saying “all magic comes at a price” 😀
May 7, 2013 at 12:24 am #191738astrawoidParticipantOh. That would be so sad and terrible. But what she would be doing is a good thing, saving lives. But then for her price to be losing Henry is awful. She’d never want to do magic again, good or bad.
