Another thing is the ratings have dropped so why would the Writers want to lock someone in for a long term contract if this show doesn’t last didn’t they say in one of the interviews that Season 1 was kind of a test thing? ❓
He got the contract awhile back. I don’t remember exactly when, but I believed it was offered to him.
Ratings: yes, live numbers have dropped. But overall live +7 days, we’re still averaging 10 million viewers a week. We’re like the 3rd highest rated show on ABC. I’m with this show through and through, but I think if that were to happen… I’d have to evaluate where I stand. What if the “surprising death” is Granny’s and that is why Henry is crying? 😕 Wasn’t Beverly Elliot reported to be on set during that scene in the garden. Even if he’s not especially close to her, she is someone who loves him and has watched him grow up. I think witnessing any death would be heart-breaking for a child.

Yes she was on set. And with Meghan leaving, they could write that this death is what prompts Red to go to the EF with the dwarves to fight the Ogres. “Do it for Granny” kind of mentality. And this makes me sad. I love Granny.

Though with Meghan leaving, it might make more sense to kill off Red but still have Meghan come back for flashbacks like they did for Graham. That might be better than to have Red just pop up randomly around Storybrooke to remind the audience she’s still around.

Yes! I meant to include Mulan in the post. Sounds like MRJ’s absence had something to do with the arrival of Mulan, Aurora, and even Philip from the EF. 😮 Does Baelfire travel to the Netherworld, where he meets the rest? ❓
