I don’t really see how that pattern has developed yet, but I guess we will see it soon if that is the pattern the writers are going for. How angsty that will be!

Meant to add to theory in above post: If he was/is in denial, I can see the flashback to NL where Hook tried to tell him (during the duel) and then Neal finding out in realtime it really was true.

Bae and Belle are Rumple’s happy ending. If they both were on good terms with him at the same time, there wouldn’t be much story to tell for the writers, hence why Rumple is always going to be out of favour with one of them at any one time. At the moment, Belle has no memory so doesn’t love Rumple, Bae and Rumple seem to have had some sort of reunion since they both thought Rumple was dying. So when Belle gets her memory back and loves Rumple again, making Rumple happy, then chances are Bae will find out about Milah from Hook and hate Rumple.

Yes, and Belle will be there to help him through. It will be so good to see that. I believe she will be a huge part in Rumple and Bae’s restoration process, as she already has been. Neal has already seen a part of his father he hasn’t seen in a very long time due to her. She has a way of provoking understanding.

It’s so strange because when I theorize, I picture Storybrooke in my head.
I keep having to remind myself I can’t do that, and when I remember, it’s like a shock to the system! WHAT DO I PICTURE NOWWW?? Nealfire slamming the door to his NL treehouse, complaining to Emma about his father? 😆 Rumple coming home to his house boat in the lagoon and Belle fixing him some tea after a stressful discussion with Neal? 😆

Rumple in a house boat. That just never occurred to me. It will be interesting to see them living in NL. Treehouses? Underground? Tents?

Hey something just occurred to me – if Gold goes back to FTL or NL, does he turn back into Rumple/Dark One?? Or does he stay as Mr. Gold?

I have to say, some Rumple/Emma scenes would be amusing.

I’ve been thinking about that as well. Because if he goes to the Dark One Rumple with the skin and everything then I don’t think Rumple and Belle can have sexy fun time (yes, this is my biggest concern) 😆

I really want a scene at some point in the OUaT history of Rumple as his green gold self and Emma having a complete meltdown about how stranger her life has become.

Haha. It seems like something a well-to-do man would live in while everyone else is roughing it in NL.

Hahaha, they DO need some sexy fun time. I have to say though, as creepy as the Cora/Rumple scenes were they did prove that Rumple can still be sexy while all green and impish (I thought so at least lol).

Oh wait, nevermind I don’t want that – cause if he turns back then her kiss will break his spell and he won’t let that happen so there won’t be any kisses. Forget it, he better stay as Mr. Gold lol.
