I agree with all your points RumplesGirl, she definitely has to be recurring!

April 6, 2013 at 8:56 pm #184738betsypaige24ParticipantI just need a bit of positive thinking, so please help me, lol. I KNOW logically that Gold would NEVER EVER leave Belle behind when he goes to Neverland and I know that Belle would refuse to stay (and even if she’s Lacey, I think the natural bravery in her/Belle would come out). I know that leaving Belle behind in SB with the dwarves and maybe Granny makes no sense. It not only gives Emilie NO storyline, makes Belle seem as if she’s completely irrelevant to the show and would be a slap in the face to Rumbelle and Rumbellers, who have had to deal with 3 different separations this year (Broken, Croc, Outsider – in each case, the separation has been longer than the last), but it invalidates Belle as a character. This woman is brave and has proved it over and over again. She’s smart, she plans strategically, she uses common sense…in other words, she’d be an asset to anyone (I assume she’d go off with Gold to find BaeNeal). Leaving her behind would, in truth, be almost a deal breaker for me in terms of whether I watch beyond this season.
Anyway, I know all of the above and logically I know Belle would not be left behind; I also know that they shoot out of order. It just bothers me that Emilie wrapped filming before every other major character. Do you guys think Belle will go with Gold? If he left her behind, again, god that would be SO out of character for him and I’d be devastated that he would even think to do that.
One other thing: It makes no sense for me that Hook would allow Gold on his ship or that Gold would even want to go. Surely he could find another way to Neverland?
Sorry for my rant, but I’m overtired and worried.
April 6, 2013 at 9:02 pm #184739RumplesGirlKeymasterBelle’s going with Rumple. I have ZERO fear about that. I also think she’ll be Belle and not Lacey by seasons end if not by the end of 19.
Re: Hook and Gold. Well, this is how I see it. Everyone is in danger when it comes to Tamara. And since GOAT have Henry, I think it prompts everyone to come together to rescue him and to get away from Greg/Owen and Tamara. So Hook and Rumple can set aside their differences for this one occasion, but I expect the drama will return in S3.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 6, 2013 at 10:18 pm #184758PriceofMagicParticipantCorrect me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t there a quote somewhere about how “the beast was going to rub off on the beauty instead of the other way round” or something like that?
I hope Belle gets her memories back by the end of Lacey. Her clothing in the most recent spoilers may seem Laceyish, however, her shoes seem to be Belle, so I’m hoping Belle has adopted the “We are both” thing of being Belle and Lacey.

Keeper of FelixApril 6, 2013 at 10:24 pm #184760HappyEndingsSpectatorThat is the 1st time I heard that about Belle taking after the Beast.
I hope Belle gets her memory back soon, I am tried of the Rumble and Belle drama thing.
April 6, 2013 at 10:28 pm #184762PriceofMagicParticipantI think someone quoted it on this board with a link to the article. Unfortunately I can’t remember who it was or what thread it was in. I think it was a few weeks ago as well so the chances of finding it easily are probably next to nothing.
Edit: Just did a search using the search menu but nothing comes up. Does any one else remember the quote about the beast rubbing off on the beauty rather than the other way round?

Keeper of FelixApril 6, 2013 at 10:59 pm #184765RumplesGirlKeymasterIt was from an article and I’m fairly certain Sureepz posted it but to heck if I can find it. But yes, I do remember that posting.
**EDIT**
I’m pretty sure Emilie is the one who said it but I can’t find it.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 7, 2013 at 2:48 am #184782HappyEndingsSpectatorHenry’s in danger: After a seer told Rumplestiltskin that the young boy who would lead him to his son would ultimately be his downfall, Rumple set his sights on Henry, suspecting that he’s the boy from the prophecy. Unfortunately, no one will actually find out about Henry’s fate anytime soon. “There’s this really serious creepy undertone to what would normally be normal conversations,” Morrison says. “But the audience will know Rumple is contemplating what to do about Henry, whereas everyone in the room thinks Henry is safe, so it heightens that sense of danger for Henry because there’s no one looking out for him yet because no one knows he’s in danger.”
Rumple’s own issues: Although Rumple will have to watch out for Regina, he’ll have problems closer to his heart to deal with. “He’s got his son and his relationship with Belle [Emilie de Ravin] to think about, so he’s distracted while all this is going on,” Carlyle says. “What he thinks about that isn’t really clear until Episode 22, at the very end, where you realize what he’s actually up to. It’s another game-changer of an episode. Everything turns around in that moment.” Carlyle also notes that the end of that same episode “is massive in terms of the relationship with Rumple and his son, and it can never ever be the same again.”

Hmm, well I would think Gold’s first priority would be finding Bae/Neal……..I can’t even think of a reason why Hook would care about Henry since as we’ve seen, and as Colin has said, Hook is out for himself and only himself.
Well we know she’s not going to be Belle by the end of #19, but I agree that she (whoever she is) will go with Gold. I just needed some reaffirmation of that because when I get overtired, I get stressed and my worry quotient goes up 100 notches, lol

Yes, but that was from EW magazine. To be honest, things that she and Bobby have said haven’t really played out. She also said prior to (I think ) the Outsider that “Belle” would lean on Mr. Gold (that should have given us a clue about the memory loss since if she was Belle, Em would have referred to him as Rumple) for security – and that hasn’t happened. She also said that “Belle” would realize sometimes that magic has to be used when it’s being used against you – and that would happen in the next couple of episodes. Nope, never happened. Bobby said Rumbelle would be a realistic relationship…and then we never got it because Gold left for NY and Belle has been out of commission.
As to the TV Guide quotes, well we already know Gold doesn’t harm Henry – and frankly, I always believed that was typical misleading spoilery talk., Nothing on earth could ever make me believe Gold would have done anything like that… for many reasons.
As to the 2nd quote, that’s clearly referring to Belle since why would he refer to Bae there and then Bae again? I’m assuming that at some point Belle will regain her memories; we certainly know per Bobby that Gold is desperate – not that we didn’t know it anyway. He will never give up on her.
