Regarding Rumbelle being split up, do we even know for sure that Rumple is actually leaving SB? I know he was there for the shooting at the boat, but he and Emilie were also shooting at the shop at one point. Obviously we don’t know which order those scenes will be in. Do we know what day Robert finished filming, (don’t recall seeing anything about it), to figure out what characters he may share other scenes with? If the others have to leave to go to another land, it may well be that Rumple stays behind in SB to hold down the fort, so to speak. Or perhaps the rest of them go looking for Henry and Rumbelle go looking for Nealfire, who may be in a completely different place to where Henry ends up. That could potentially qualify as a “gamechanger” if Rumple goes to find his son without hurting anyone and destroying a whole world to do it this time.
Speaking of the scene of Rumbelle at the shop, isn’t that shoot the same day where people mentioned having seen the two mystery female characters around set too? If they’re both in SB, it’s unlikely that one of them is Wendy, unless Onceiverse Wendy never went home from Neverland.

In Episode 2:21 they have a fight Gold and Bae the scene was with Whale and Belle, it sounded kind of like this:
Gold telling Whale to kiss his boot, and Bae walks in and tell him that he hasn’t changed. Bae states that he is here for his son only.
Yes Rumbelle were shooting both places but given that Rumple and Belle were on the ship with Hook, Emma, Snow, Charming, and Regina, I think it’s a safe bet to say that the entire cast is heading off to NL to find Henry/Bae (because we still don’t know where Bae is in all this). I think the shop scenes are probably earlier in the episode. Then Henry gets kidnapped and sent (we think) to NL. The Charmings confront Rumple thinking he had something to do with it (which he hasn’t) and meanwhile something has happened to Bae and now Rumbelle join the search for both Henry and Bae by fleeing to Neverland because they realize how dangerous it is to stay in SB.
This is how this is playing out in my head, at least.

Like, he originally plans to just kill Henry, to prevent his “undoing,” but then at the last minute he realizes he can’t and sends him away, both to protect himself from Henry and Henry from himself.

While I love the idea of Grandpastiltskin doing something that good there is a video shot by VanCity Filming that shows Tamara and Greg taking an obviously kidnapped Henry and opening a portal in the water probably by throwing in one of the magic beans.

Several things have played out differently to how they were in my head recently, so I’m gunshy and keeping my options open for the last couple of eps. If I get my heart set on them all going to NL and it doesn’t happen, it’ll bug me.

I agree I don’t see Belle or Gold actually on the boat only the Charming Family, Hook, and Regina.
If Bae is sent to FL wouldn’t Gold go there instead with the rest of the group ❓

I agree, there are less pics of Rumbelle on the boat but I think that the focus for those scenes could be on the Charmings, Hook and Regina. And there are pics of Hook, Regina and Rumple on the boat together, so I think everyone is together but most of the dialogue/acting in that scene is probably not Rumbelle.

Even if Belle were there he could say he couldn’t do anything to stop Henry from being taken. He could go through the motions of “helping” the others find Henry but actually be hindering the search. It would definitely be a game changer for his relationship with Bae if Bae were to find out.
Another similar scenario could be that Rumple doesn’t stop Tamara and Owen from taking Henry. Belle is with him and of course insists that they tell the others so they can set up some sort of search party. They split up to look for Henry, Bae ends up in danger and of course Rumple is upset. Rumple would have to save Bae and in the process has to save Henry. Rumple saves the day by putting his life at risk but saving both Bae and Henry. Which would certainly be a game changer in his relationship with Bae. Lots of holes in this scenario though.
