At some point Emma and Neal are on a beach, I agree. The question is which episode is that? I thought that shot was from 21 not 22.
I agree I thought that was in 21 but now I’m not so sure because we know that sometimes scenes are shot out of order. I can’t help thinking that scene on the beach is in Neverland. I don’t think there is any beaches in Storybrooke.
I think we will know a little bit more after 2×19 & 2×20 air. I am curious to see the sneak peaks for 2×19 & the publicity shots for 2×20.
But the pics clearly show The CharmingsStiltskin Family on the docks with Regina. I suspect Rumbelle & Emma may suspect that something has happened to Neal after witnessing Tamara & Greg go through the portal with Henry which could lead to an alliance between The Charmings, Rumbelle, and Regina along with Hook

I have never seen anyone hold a sword up like that if I remember correctly, and in fact has anyone seen a pirate fight like that ❓

I don’t know much about the way he was holding his sword, but I do know that his sword was a cutlass which is primarily used for naval battles.

Yes, I agree that the way Neal holds a sword is rather pirate-like. Plus, he knows Hook and knew how to sail his ship. Baelfire was certainly in Neverland, since Neal said in Manhattan he’s a lot older than he looks (paraphrasing). Bae left the EF about 250 years ago, so there is no way he’d even be alive today, much less look like a young man in our world, unless his first port of call was a Land Without Time (i.e. Neverland). I think the question that remains is what was Baelfire doing in Neverland? Was he a pirate or part of Hook’s crew? Was he a Lost Boy? Was he the Pan at one point? Perhaps the answer is a combo of all choices. Even Peter Pan had to learn his awesome swordsmanship skill from somewhere (perhaps from Hook).
I posted a picture of Dylan Schmid on the set of 2×22 and his costume looks like that of a sailor, so he could very easily have been a member of Hook’s crew. https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=92&t=3184&start=860#p51485

The series focuses on a band of young pirates consisting of Jake, Izzy, Cubby, their parrot Skully and Bucky, their living pirate ship,Added by ILikeCheesewho continuously spend their days competing against Captain Hook and Mr. Smee for treasure. They are often accompanied by several characters including their mermaid friend Marina.

Or
Maybe he was with the crew on Pirates of the Caribbean instead of Hook’s?
April 11, 2013 at 6:53 pm #185641RumplesGirlKeymasterI think Adam and Eddy can pull from anything they want, but I also think that they will be creating their own version of PP that will probably differ in significant ways to both the Disney version we know and the original Barrie version. I don’t think their version of PP will be directly derivative of anything we’ve seen before but will very uniquely Adam and Eddy.

Since he isn’t Peter Pan, or a Lost Boy and now everyone thinks he was a member on Hook’s ship but wouldn’t the rumors of Gold killing Mulian be heard by Bae if he was indeed a ship mate on Hook’s ship and if that would be the case then I don’t think he was a ship mate on Hook’s ship maybe another pirates ship or something else.
April 12, 2013 at 12:38 am #185723RumplesGirlKeymasterI believe Cora told Hook about the dagger. We have yet to see how Cora knows about the dagger, but that could be a story for S3.
I’m not sure how he knew where Belle was, but he’s a pirate. They have ways of figuring things out. Plus, he has Smee who was an expert in finding difficult to locate objects.
We don’t know for sure that he wasn’t Pan or a Lost Boy. Adam and Eddy are tricky about their wordings. They said no one had guess his back story correctly, not that we haven’t gotten the Pan theory right.

How Hook found out is not that important, the Dark One’s dagger is the most open secret in Onceverse. So much for killing the mute maid, in the end only Emma needed to be told about it, everyone else already knew: Snow, Charming, August, Mother Superior, Regina, Cora and Hook. 🙄

So much for killing the mute maid,
Speaking of the mute maid, I had something randomly pop into my head the other day. I wonder if she could have been foreshadowing of Bae having experience communicating with someone who couldn’t speak, an experience we’ll see him draw on when he runs into Ariel in NL.
