This will make your day!!! 😀[adrotate group="5"]April 12, 2013 at 8:27 pm #185883DemiletoParticipantBelle is extremely important to Rumple’s story, but the producers have greatly failed to make her relevant to the others as well, hence the reason she has big episodes for her (“The Crocodile”, “The Outsider”, “Lacey”) and she’s more or less irrelevant in other episodes. Compare this to Nealfire, who’s extremely important to Rumple, Emma and Henry’s stories, mildly important to Regina’s (for being the biological father of her adoptive son) and important by proxy to Snow and Charming’s (for his relevance in Emma and Henry’s).
Hopefully Rumple’s newfound family bond with the Charmings will allow Belle to take a more active role in later stories.

That is one thing that has been so frustrating to me- how little screen time she’s had so far and how little she has been integrated into the rest of cast. As Rumpel’s love interest, she has a major connection to a core character. She is a very strong part of his story arc. I hope they do more with her next season and let her come into her own.
April 12, 2013 at 10:22 pm #185898HappyEndingsSpectatorDina: I am going through Once Upon a Time withdrawals. Got any scoop on what to expect?
A trip to a new land…possibly a permanent one! “They sort of set up that we are maybe heading to another land. They’ve teased that at the end of season two,” Jennifer Morrison teases of season three. “I will be interested to see how we are all impacted by that new land. I think whenever we’re in a place where everyone’s relationships are impacted by their environment and it heightens the stakes for everyone, it becomes very interesting drama

I’m not sure where all this Belle hysteria is coming from but this keeps coming up. If people are nervous because there haven’t been pics of her on the actual BOAT, well there haven’t been pics of a lot of things and maybe Belle only has minor scenes on the Jolly Roger since, naturally, the focus would be on the Charmings and Hook. I really don’t think we need to worry about Belle. Chances are she’s getting her memories back in 19 or before the end of the season and Adam and Eddy wouldn’t be dumb enough to split Rumbelle up AGAIN so soon after she got her memories back.
I agree that they won’t split Rumbelle up again at this point in the storyline. If they want to keep him progressing and developing, he needs her influence. Belle will be sticking around. I’m still reserving judgement about whether or not Rumbelle leave on the boat with everyone else though. That’s what intrigued me about the alleged spoiler that Belle may not leave on the boat. If that happens to be true, and she doesn’t go, then Rumple won’t go either, because he wouldn’t leave her. A few people have mentioned over the last couple of pages that Belle hasn’t been tied in with other characters’ storylines much. If Rumbelle end up in FTL searching for Nealfire, Belle would likely meet up with Mulan again, which would be a nice little continuation of a relationship Belle has outside of Rumple.

Where does it say they don’t want Belle coming? The post is just about Henry and Greg and Tamara. Am I missing something on there? There isn’t a mention of Belle or who’s leaving SB…
The person who posted the spoilers has deleted them, but there was still a reply from someone saying, “I don’t understand why they don’t want to let Belle come along, too.” That implies that the person who had posted the spoilers, (who has apparently had reliable information in the past), said that Belle wasn’t leaving on the boat.

How are Tamara and Greg going to use the Magic Bean if they get hold of one. Emma and MM needed the compass to navigate between the different worlds when they left EF. Do they still have the compass? is it accounted for?
If Tamara and Greg know how to use the bean and navigate between worlds, I’m thinking Tamara for sure has connections to another land, possibly being a fairy tale (or other) character we are familiar with. (It might be time to start thinking beyond fairy tale, and incorporate other classic characters. like Dr. Whale being Dr. Frankenstein.)
However, if Tamara and Greg use the bean, without knowing how, and get lost in a world they don’t intend, i’ll buy her story of being human – or being from our world.
I think the compass was only needed that time because it was a different type of portal, which didn’t involve a bean. Hook has used a bean twice without needing the compass, and Bae didn’t have a compass either. I’m gonna guess that Tamara overhears a conversation about the beans, perhaps she even discusses it with Nealfire, where she’s playing the role of supportive fiance who wants to know what happened to him, but she’s actually digging for information on how the beans work from someone who has used one. Then she decides to steal one.

I think this is an interesting thought but it would mean that the Rumple/Hook drama would be on hold and with Hook and his story becoming more prominent in S3 (we assume), I think a major part of that is how Rumple and Hook will continue to interact.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 13, 2013 at 1:17 pm #185971PriceofMagicParticipantA thought occured to me. We know Greg and Tamara kidnap Henry, what if Neal is led to believe that Greg kidnapped Tamara as well? Neal isn’t supposed to find out Tamara’s true colours for a good long while yet. Tamara kidnapping Henry would be a bit obvious. What if Tamara sets it up so it looks like she’s been kidnapped along with Henry?

I think that’s very possible but does Greg realizes that is what Tamara is going to do? I think Tamara is only out for herself and really has no interest in helping Greg.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 13, 2013 at 1:55 pm #185974PriceofMagicParticipantGreg is just a means to an end for Tamara. Ultimately I think that is how Greg will be redeemed, he will realise Tamara is just using him and he’ll turn on her but not before she’s royally screwed him over.
I’m fairly confident Belle will get her memory back by the end of Lacey. In the sneek peek that LaurieAnne kindly posted, Rumple tells Charming that if Charming helps him, he’ll owe Charming a favour. That’s a big thing for Rumple, especially as he doesn’t like being indebted to anyone. I wonder if Charming will call in his favour to Rumple to help get Henry back.

Agreed. I think they will wrap up the Belle memory story in 19 (all the promotions for it thus far seem to indicate that Rumbelle will be back together soon).
A few weeks ago Ethan Embry responded to a question I asked him on Twitter, if he would be on OUaT for S3 and he said (paraphrasing) ‘maybe.” So I wonder if Greg’s story will also wrap up by season’s end and we’ll be left fighting with Tamara. But we also know that she won’t be the focus for the whole of S3 because the actress has been cast as a regular on The Walking Dead, so I’d say her story has to be wrapped up by Xmas hiatus (which is going to last forever b/c of the Olympics). If she has no FTL alter ego and isn’t related to anyone in FTL (which I’m still skeptical about) then her story has to be much lager than just her. A lot of people have speculated that she works for a large corporation that is seeking magic and that will become the big bad for S3 and maybe even further.
Charming owing Rumple a favor….oh boy. That’s big. I think it will either involve Snow or Henry for sure."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
