Also, the scene describes Gold beating on Whale while Belle just stands there and watches- no way a Belle who remembers would not step in. The finale is really a two parter. I can see them making Belle’s memories part of it. I will be very surprised if she is only Lacey for one episode.
About Belle’s dressing as Lacey. I remember way back when we started getting spoilers for “The Cricket Game” that people felt Emma and Snow’s different clothing style was a sign that Hook and Cora were impersonating them; in the end, it was merely the show’s way to showcase us the change in both women’s lives.
[adrotate group="5"]Emma and Snow’s style changes were subtle- they still fit the character. Belle’s clothes in those pictures are not like her at all.
I think they implied that Lacey *does* end up getting together with Gold at some point. Jane Espenson joked about Gold and Lacey having “sexy times.” Just because she is glaring at him in the promo pics doesn’t mean things don’t change. There’s a story arc being told.
Are her clothes THAT dramatic of a change? She’s always worn pretty sexy things, not this sexy granted, but sexy.
And yes Jane did imply that but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t come in that episode. I think she’s going to try and seduce him, get rebuffed because it freaks him out, she gets mad goes to the bar where he tries to apologize, she walks away from him, meets Keith, he harasses her, Rumples saves her, she opens up to him, they have a dance to A Song As Old as Time, magic kiss and BOOM. Belle wears short skirts, yes, but not mini skirts barely passed her bottom or anything one would describe as “scantily clad.” She usually wears cute flirty, girly dresses or blouses and with skirts and bold, colorful patterns. In those pics, she has a solid black revealing mini dress with black tights and a practically neon little jacket.
Lol, oh Angie I agree that it’s a different dress from what we normally seen but again…if she’s both…her personalities merged…yada yada yada. lol.
I just want Rumbelle back, I wont lie. That’s my driving force here. I’m sure Lacey will be fun to watch…but I want/need my OTP back now. 😆

I just don’t think it is likely that we will have Lacey for only one episode- it’s too fast. I think it will be great fun to meet Lacey- as long as she is Belle again before the season ends!
At any rate…8 days and we will know. This impossible hiatus will be OVER.
