That is a very interesting question, HappyEndings – something I have been wondering about as well. Maybe that is why many of those characters won’t go back? Or maybe they can stay themselves in NL but if they went back to FTL they would revert/become their fairy/cricket forms. I would love to see more of Jiminy and BF in their “enchanted” forms – but maybe it is just way easier to keep them in the Storybrooke identities. I am sure that Keegan would love to get out of that Mother Superior hair and outfit and into something more trendy!

I think it depends on how magic works in NL. In SB there is magic now but no one reverted to their FTL forms. If magic in NL works the same as it does in SB then probably not.

I’m torn about which one I want. If Rumple goes back to DarkOne Rumple then he and Belle can’t have sexy time (unless his powers are gone because of Tamara and her magical taser) but I would think the BF would turn back into a fairy since it’s NL. Unless she’s not going to NL with them. She wasn’t on the boat.

Except in SB didn’t Gold say that magic is different here so I wonder if that is the case in NL too.

Right, that’s what I meant. If magic in SB and in NL are the same then the answer is probably no. But if magic in NL and FTL work the same then the answer is…maybe

I think it will be interesting to see how magic works in NL. Baelfire ended up there and he was trying to get to a land without magic. I guess he could’ve gotten there by mistake . We don’t really know how the bean portal works – do you have to know where you are going, like with the Hat? Or do you have to declare where you are going, such as Hook announcing “Neverland” in The Crocodile? I hope we find out.

My theory is that as soon as Rumple let go of Bae’s hand, Bae became an orphan and so the bean changed course and sent him to NL. My question is was this Blue’s intent all along? Did she realize Rumple would never follow Bae?

I think the same thing. I do think Blue knew Rumple would never go with Bae.
I think Blue is the one who wanted the Dark Curse to be cast….she needed a patsy- Rumplestiltskin was it.
Seperating him and Bae was perfect – it pi$$ed him off and he became the desperate soul – desperate enough to spend 300 years perfecting the curse.

Blue said what ails Rumplestitlskin was specific to that realm – The EF.

Rumple may lose his limp in NL. Considering NL is normally depicted as very jungle like, it would make things easier for Rumple to be able to walk normally.

I’ve been wondering about that too. If they’re going to be in a jungle like atmosphere, Rumple needs to lose the limp, the suits ect. And Belle need more sensible clothing.
