As some of you remember, this winter I did a re-watch of Season 3A every week. For this Summer, I am taking it to the next level by re-watching all 3 Seasons along with Wonderland. Because of the amount of episodes, this will be an every weekday evening sorta deal. Think of it like watching syndicated reruns on cable. If anybody wants to join in, we could even agree on a specific time per day and talk in the chatroom while re-watching. The re-watch would start on Monday, June 9th and end on Friday, September 26th. Regardless, a rewatch is definitely a way to pass up the time while we wait for Season 4. Here’s the schedule I created:

The only thing is why split up Snow Drifts / There’s No Pace Like home? The way it was done seems like it’s better just to watch it all as one thing. Anyway I’m on board 🙂

Scheduling wise, it made sense to split them and they actually are separated into two separate episodes on Hulu and iTunes. However, there will be an encore of both parts the last night for schedule filling purposes.

This is a great idea, I may not be able to watch all of them, but I love it. I’ll enjoy rewatching Season 1 especially:) It will get up all ready for Season 4! Count me in.

Alright, for those who are in, what would be a good regular time of the day to do the rewatch? I was thinking 6 or 7pm eastern for each day, because I assume most of us would be home around then and it would be before primetime. I know some of us do have our summer shows that we watch, so I want to avoid scheduling conflicts. And yeah, you don’t have to dedicate to watching all episodes at the same time as I watch them, if at all. If there’s an episode you want to watch, but can’t watch as the same time as us, you can simply watch it on your own time.

I think 7pm might be best. I think most of the big shows start at 8pm and would allow time for us East Coasters to get home from work:)

I’m afraid I won’t have time for the whole thing, but I’ll try to drop in for an episode or two.

Since I won’t be there for most of it and since I’m in the Eastern timezone, this next observation doesn’t apply to me personally, but I can’t help wondering if 7:00 PM Eastern is too early for people in other timezones. Three-fourths of the country won’t be home from work by the time you start. That’s a far less flexible constraint than the time for watching other TV programs (People actually watch TV programs other than Once????). I think most people who would be interested in this will probably have access to either DVRs, VCRs, or the ability to watch TV online, so people in the Eastern timezone could record anything else they might want to watch and still participate at 8:00 or 9:00 Eastern, while more people in the west would have time to get home from work. Just a thought.
