CaptainEvil?
Midnight: well, it does now! I’m thinking Slurpeez is right. Maybe the Seer tells him his destiny, to become evil and cause choas, and he runs away thinking to avoid it and thus by not wanting to believe the prophecy, he actually walks right into in. Classic trope in Greek literature.
[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 28, 2013 at 9:30 pm #170379RumplesGirlKeymasterIs Cora’s endgame to become the Dark One? She really doesn’t care about Regina at all?? I was thinking that getting Regina on her side was at least a small goal, but now I’m thinking that she really wants to BECOME the Dark One. After all, all she knows is what “Master” taught her.

She wants to be more powerful than him for sure…I just hope that if she is only using Regina that Regina wises up before it is too late. How could she break away from Cora if Cora was controlling Rumple or worse became the Dark One.

I wonder if Rumple realising his destiny is him realising that if he stays fighting, he’s going to die. Hence he runs away and becomes the village coward.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixJanuary 28, 2013 at 10:40 pm #170394tiara_roseParticipantOr she says that he will have a son that will die, when he dies in this battle. So he go back to safe his son. What he do when the time comes for his son to fighting
“The Law don’t want you do fight, it want you to die, Bae.”I have read that there was a “boy” in the guest star. Maybe he was a child he couldn't rescued him from the war, so the little boy die and he get injured and so he leave to have a chance to rescue his boy for this horror.
Heros don't get their Happy Ending!

I was thinking about this the other day and how what he did to save his son is what cost him his son. And with the theory and speculation of the prophecy, this sounds the most in tune to pre-dark one Rumple.
It keeps reminding me of Revenge of the Sith and how Anakin fell! The premonitions caused his turn to the dark side yet if he didn’t turn to the dark side they wouldn’t have come true :-//Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

Nice Idea. There are so many good ideas. Can’t wait to see with what K& H will surprise us.

Can’t wait to find out exactly what this prophecy says, and also if this Seer is where Rumple gains his own skills of foresight. I’ve never thought of him as a real future seer before, but maybe he picks up some tricks from this girl, or just from his experience with her. If he misinterprets her prophecy and then his actions cause it to come true, that may be how he learns the art of carefully crafting his words, which is how he ends up such a pro at saying exactly the right things to manipulate people’s actions.
PS. obisgirl, I’m not a CaptainSwan shipper as such, but do love their flirtations, and I love your sig! 😉

Yes, I love the idea of Rumple falling into some kind of self fulfilling prophecy because that’s such a staple of ancient Greek drama. Plus, K&H are both big Star Wars fans, I believe, so that’s another reason I could see them wanting to do a story line involving Rumple hearing a prophecy and instead of it not coming true like he wishes whatever he does sets events in motion for it to happen.
Also I really love all the suggestions for the new Axis of Evil.
