[adrotate group="5"]hands down the most painful part of this episode to me was emma’s face after snow shouts at her outside the station when she hurts david.
jmo’s acting was in top form and you could see everything crashing down in that one short look. she’s undoubtedly been in countless verbally abusive foster homes, so not only did that tone of voice immediately snap her back to that, but it was what she’s been afraid of since the curse broke. since she got her parents back.
every time emma got adopted by a foster family, something was “wrong” with her, and they sent her back. over and over again. she constantly worries about people leaving her because they constantly DID. they saw something they didn’t like, and they bailed. it’s what makes it so hard for her to get close to people, and it’s why she tries to push them away first.
she finally stopped expecting it, stopped working this self-fulfilling prophecy of alienating people, and THAT’S when it comes from snow. when emma’s guard is down, and she feels safe with her family, that’s when she sees them turning away from her.
so you can watch a part of her in that moment say, “this is it.” this is the moment when they see something they don’t like, like countless foster families have, and they give her back. this is when the swans have their own kid and send her home at age three. this is when her behavior issues and acting out for attention become too much for the family to handle and they have to slap the return to sender label on her. this is her real family, the ones she dreamt about for so long, rejecting her because they saw something that they didn’t like.
and it kills her.
and if your heart didn’t break for emma the moment you saw that in her eyes i just cAN’T EVEN.

because for SO LONG, killian has been emma’s #1 supporter—including, but not limited to, her magic. it was even pointed out by elsa that, even though normally he would rather avoid magic, he encourages it in emma.
because it’s who she is. it’s what makes her strong, and wonderful, and her light is part of the reason he loves her so completely.
he has never feared it, he has never shied from it. he even tried to distance himself from her—something that tore him apart—because he’d never want her to lose any part of herself.
and she’s been looking for excuses to avoid being special since season one. but every time she tries to ignore her magic, killian swoops in and reminds her it’s part of what makes her wonderful. he fell in love with her for who she is, magic and all.

Fantasy blows holes in reality- and escapism, not literary perfection, is what I seek.
That in mind, I enjoyed the episode for what it did! It made me want to continue the crazy adventure.
Angst, meet Everyone!
Our smoldering good fellow Captain with inner torment is in direct line of serious fire! We knew it was coming and it is about to arrive! From Rumple, Snow Queen and yes, Elsa, if the nanosecond of Elsa icily reaching for his hand in the Sneak Preview is one if those ultra mini teases, he has the giant target on his back. whether Elsa would semi-freeze him for his own protection while all this “one last ingredient hat trick” comes down remains to be seen. His “Don’t do this” could easily be his plea to Elsa not to prevent him from actively doing the daring rescue of Emma. That would certainly set up a TLK for Emma to get him out of ice cube “carbonation ala Han Solo”. It would keep him away from lethal Rumple vengeance as well as Snow Queen’s raving lunacy of having Emma all to herself. Works for me but I am not in control (grin) And now that I think about it, Rumple might actually want more revenge against Anna which might make better sense in a Frozen arc! Snow Queen has no love lost for Anna either. Hmmmmm

Snow Queen is a fabulous sympathy creating villain especially in comparison to Zelena’s over the top wacko narcissist performance. But whatever she whispered was a lie, most assuredly. But it will give a Rumple the faux reason to be the recalcitrant power starved wretched baddy he is in his soul.
We are in for some wild and crazy chaos 🙂

I have a small sticking point with last night’s ep. Well a couple. Well, maybe more than a couple. But the main one I really didn’t like was that Hook used the word ‘monster’ unintentionally describing Emma. I would have thought with his background, he wouldn’t be so judgemental. I don’t know, it just seemed out of place. (But of course the writers make him say that so it looks like he thinks Emma’s a monster, blah blah blah)
My other small sticking point was Snow including Charming and Hook in her ‘we failed her’ speech. No, Snow, it was you. You were the one afraid to hand over Neal, and you were the one who scolded your very scared daughter. Don’t go including the boys who were trying to help Emma in your guilt. (I wasn’t very happy with Snow)
However I did like seeing the SQ’s background. It was a bit heavy handed on the sisterly love, but you know drama drama drama. I liked the way Helga stood up for Ingrid against the Duke. That was nice. Poor Helga. No wonder Ingrid has an obsession with Emma. Very much looking forward to next week.
Also loving Hook and Charming. Even they’ve got to the stage where they’re reading each others thoughts. And how sweet was Belle pushing Hook out of the way of the mirror. I’m slowly starting to like Belle. I think I like her more when she’s not with Rumple, or defending him to the hilt. It would be quite delicious if Belle and Hook became good friends.

I hope all of you is fine and happy 🙂 haven’t seen last episode yet because it hasn’t been aired in my country yet but i have a question for you since you all watched it you might have known the answer i saw some rumours in instagram that killian may die this season because producers told that a major will die and there is also some rumours that colin won’t return after season 4 and Rumple will kill him because this episode snow queen told him that he has to kill what he hates the most to cast a curse are these rumours make any sense to you ?

Ok, so I only have 30mins then I have to get back out to work again, so will reply to this 1st 😉
People are talking out their backsides rumors wise- Colin will be signed on for either the same length as the others (meaning he’d be signed on to do S5), or they’ll have signed him into a 5yr/season contract- meaning S6.
There has been foreshadowing Killian will get hurt, yes- 401 & 403 did that, however they also strongly foreshadowed Emma fighting for him/them in every ep & have strongly foreshadowed CS = TL/TLK. Those saying he’ll die are simply ignoring the story line, it makes no sense to spend 2-3seasons developing Emma- who fears letting love in, with this epic love story that is CS, to then just go destroy her by ripping it all away- it would pretty much effectively destroy any chance Emma had of a HEA, not to mention set her character development right back by at least 2seasons- as I seriously doubt she’d trust or let love in again if she lost Killian.
The facts are :
The producers didnt say “there will be another major death”- thats just people freaking out & miss quoting what was actually said & I quote here

Stating the obvious- the villains are “major” characters 😉
We didnt actually hear what SQ whispered in Rumple’s ear, so what she said is 100% fan speculation until we find out next week 😉
Me personally- I think Rumple will do something to Killian- he was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to happy/gleeful to need to do whatever it was for it not to be Killian & we all know Rumple wants Killian dead- If SQ gets rid of all Rumple’s complications with taking out Hook (*coughEMMAcough*), then he’ll happily do so, as he can blame everything on SQ (to Belle). However we know Colin is filming in 411, so whatever happens, it’s not death 😉 Plus we are supposed to see Emma fight for Killian this season & we have Killian back story coming in 4B. CS is probably the most promoted ship by ABC & they know it’s probably the largest ship (thanks to S4 Rumple & Robin) this season, so they obviously feel there are enough people watching Once, whom are also invested in CS, that they wont want to take the risk of loosing a big chunk of the viewership- ABC wont let A&E risk shooting their profit margin in the foot. A&E would also be taking a serious risk if they killed off Hook, Emma, Snow, Charming, Rumple, Belle, Regina or Henry- their income relies on good ratings & profit for ABC, they’d be fools to risk their lively hoods on killing a “main” character off at this stage in the game. That doesnt mean all of our mains will live to see the very last minute of the very last episode though, but I think Killian is in it for the long haul 😉
Yeah i neither do i think that it can make sense to kill Hook but i won’t say i wasn’t freaked out a little . Thaks for the explenation surayya you really did call me down 🙂 But now that watch the episode i really didn’t get a hint that they will kill him but i am pretty sure his business with Rumple is not over.
