D23, the Disney fan club ‘ships Captain Swan and loves Hook.

Seriously, what’s not to love???!!!  The list was kind of short though, I think we could have come up with more reasons to love Hook and CS. Personally, I love how he does that little touching his tongue to his lower lip thing of his. It may just be a habit of Colin’s, but it’s endearing 🙂  Anything else, anyone?

There has been foreshadowing Killian will get hurt, yes- 401 & 403 did that, however they also strongly foreshadowed Emma fighting for him/them in every ep & have strongly foreshadowed CS = TL/TLK. Those saying he’ll die are simply ignoring the story line, it makes no sense to spend 2-3seasons developing Emma- who fears letting love in, with this epic love story that is CS, to then just go destroy her by ripping it all away- it would pretty much effectively destroy any chance Emma had of a HEA, not to mention set her character development right back by at least 2seasons- as I seriously doubt she’d trust or let love in again if she lost Killian.

    The facts are :

The producers didnt say “there will be another major death”- thats just people freaking out & miss quoting what was actually said & I quote here

Is there going to be a major character death this season?
    Kitsis: I hope so.

    http://insidetv.ew.com/2014/10/31/once-upon-time-hot-seat-spoilers/

Stating the obvious- the villains are “major” characters ;)

We didnt actually hear what SQ whispered in Rumple’s ear, so what she said is 100% fan speculation until we find out next week ;)

Me personally- I think Rumple will do something to Killian- he was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to happy/gleeful to need to do whatever it was for it not to be Killian & we all know Rumple wants Killian dead- If SQ gets rid of all Rumple’s complications with taking out Hook (*coughEMMAcough*), then he’ll happily do so, as he can blame everything on SQ (to Belle). However we know Colin is filming in 411, so whatever happens, it’s not death ;) Plus we are supposed to see Emma fight for Killian this season & we have Killian back story coming in 4B. CS is probably the most promoted ship by ABC & they know it’s probably the largest ship (thanks to S4 Rumple & Robin) this season, so they obviously feel there are enough people watching Once, whom are also invested in CS, that they wont want to take the risk of loosing a big chunk of the viewership- ABC wont let A&E risk shooting their profit margin in the foot.

I agree that it’s unlikely they’d kill off Hook anytime soon; it would be pretty stupid. Of course, you never know, but I’m not really worried at the moment.

I’ve seen lots of speculation lately that Robin could be dying at some point–we’ve seen that Regina “reverts” to being the Evil Queen (I don’t think she ever really changed considering her recent behavior, but that’s beside the point) in at least some capacity, and I think Lana said in that recent interview with TVGuide that something would happen to cause that–it’s probably just the shattered sight thing, but it could be something more significant. There’s also the fact that Sean hasn’t been made a series regular as far as anyone knows (but could certainly still be considered a “major” character). And that would resolve the whole Marian-Robin-Regina triangle, albeit not very nicely.

Honestly though I still think it’s what I said before, that it’s probably either someone like Ingrid–we’ve certainly seen the villains die before–or another temporary death.

As for the other thing, I also agree it sure seems likely that Killian is somehow involved in whatever it is that Ingrid told Rumple to do based on how delighted he was at the prospect. Whether it is, like some have said, a “heart-of-the-thing-you-hate-most” thing, or taking Killian out of commission in order to distract Emma and cause her to further lose control of her magic, or something else altogether, I don’t know, but I’m anxious to find out! I did think it was weird that in the preview it looked like Rumple was giving her a potion of some sort to take away her magic rather than just sucking her into the hat though. Hmm.

The only two deaths I’m counting on likely happening is the Snow Queen and probably Marian at some point.

I remember the spoiler in 3A that a beloved character would die during the Neverland arc. I think most of us thought it was someone from the main cast but actually, it turned out being Peter Pan.

I seriously do not think Killian is in any danger of dying. It’s already been said that he excels at surviving, therefore he’s a weak contender for a possible death anytime soon. Secondly, he’s in a relationship with Emma and it would be a huge thing for Emma if Killian died suddenly. I feel fairly certain if Killian really died, she would revert back to walls up season one Emma. And she’s come so far as a character to go back to that person.

I strongly believe Emma and Killian are endgame and highly likely each other’s true love.  He’s not going to die guys.

I do however find it interesting after Family Business that there was talk of possibly Belle dying.  I’m on the fence about how I feel about Belle at the moment — I think it all depends on how she reacts to Rumple’s lies when they inevitably come out.

I don’t think there’s any particular reason.  Felt like just a fangirl post, just for fun.  I wouldn’t put too much stalk into it.  But it is really funny, especially it lists most of the reasons why we love Hook in general.

Wasn’t the “beloved character” death Blue Fairy during the Neverland arc? then she came back.

I doubt they’d kill off Hook. He’s one half of a popular ship along with Belle and Rumple. There would be serious outrage amongst the fandom if they put either CaptainSwan or RumBelle out of commission permanently.

I think Robin might be killed off.
    1. They refrained from making him a regular.
    2. They can’t let Regina have a happy ending too early.
    3. They’ve kind of botched the OutlawQueen storyline.
    4. Robin’s death would really test Regina’s redemption and provide story for her.

I like Belle and want her to survive. It was nice that she actually tried to stop Hook looking in the mirror, and also Charming pushed him out of the way of the falling lamppost. I don’t want Belle to leave Rumple when she finds out about his lies but I do want him to have to really work to earn her trust again.

All magic comes with a price!

I think story wise it is unnecessary to kill a character this season will help or improve the story. I think what they need to do this season is to deepen the relationships between characters. The only relationship that is improving is Hook’s and Emma’s. I want to see more interaction between Henry and Regina , Henry and Hook , David – Hook or Charmings -Emma etc. and despite my expectations the relationships are getting even more shallow and characters are getting shallow i don’t think they have three dimension anymore especially Snow, Robin

I agree. Especially in regards to the SQ. I don’t want to see her die and Elsa was pretty adamant she didn’t want her killed off. I’m hoping SQ comes to realise that Elsa and Anna are her true family (you know if they ever find Anna, because surely they can’t kill of Anna!) and she doesn’t need to destroy the town to have her happiness. It’s a bit of a Magneto mentality. Get rid of the people who don’t understand or fear you before they kill you. It was Elsa who inadvertently put the ‘your family fear you’ in Emma’s head, then the SQ just played up on that.

And you can’t kill off Robin Hood! I’m sorry, you just can’t. He’s Robin Hood and unkillable. Poor Robin, he’s getting a bit of a backlash. I’m not in the Robin is a douche camp just yet, as long as he stands by his decision and not string either Regina or Marian (if she wakes up) along. It might be weird, but I’ve never enjoyed the relationship between Robin Hood and Maid Marian (in everything I’ve watched it always seems forced, I guess b/c of its history) so I’m happy for the ‘legendary’ couple to be broken up.

If one is to engage with the primordial forces of darkness, one must expect a little social awkwardness

    1. They refrained from making him a regular.

That’s a really big thing for me too–I expected Sean to be signed on as a regular between seasons three and four, but it didn’t happen. There could be plenty of reasons for that of course, but I still find it surprising. But who knows, it could still happen for 4B or whatever.

And you can’t kill off Robin Hood! I’m sorry, you just can’t. He’s Robin Hood and unkillable. Poor Robin, he’s getting a bit of a backlash. Interesting. Like I said, if they were going to kill off someone who’s been on the show for a while (I still don’t think they will, but if) I think Robin would make the most sense. He hasn’t felt like Robin Hood to me at ALL this season, probably because I find it ridiculous that someone famous for standing up to oppressive tyrants would fall for someone who pretty much personifies that perfectly.

And I have always liked Robin and Marian in the versions I’ve seen, and I really like OUAT’s Marian as well–she’s a really strong, principled, butt-kicking woman and I really hope they don’t kill her off! (Even if a certain cast member has explicitly stated that (s)he does want her to die…) And not just because I really like her–Roland also needs at least one decent parent. (Who’s been taking care of him while his mother’s been frozen and his father’s been off mooning over Regina?) And I’d really have liked to see a scene with Snow thanking Marian for risking her life and refusing to give her up to Regina, but I’m pretty sure that’ll never happen, sadly.

Ever since they brought Marian back and revealed that Regina was the one who had killed her in the first place, I personally gave up on OQ–not in the sense that I think it’ll never happen, but in the sense that there’s no way it could happen that wouldn’t make Robin seem like a total jerk in my opinion. I really don’t know where they’re going with that particular triangle!
