Such a dark, dark episode–but I was riveted, even having watched all the sneak peeks. Wow. I’m still letting it all sink in, though…
I’m not sure if it was a most or least favorite part, but the bit at the end, where Dark Snow emerges…I’ve been there at times, which is perhaps why it resonates so much for me. You try to do the right thing, and you never get anywhere…and it was just so, so true, that moment of anguish and frustration where you’re just sick of trying to be good and hoping good things will come of it.

1. When Neal called Rumple “Papa” awwww…. 😀
2. When we got some info of where Neal has been, we know he knows Hook, we also now know that he knows how to sail a ship. *cough Peter Pan 😉
3. Though it was not a good moment it was most shocking, so I would have to say when Cora pushed Johanna out the window. It was my “JEEZUS!!!” moment. 😯
4. When Regina told Snow they were hypocrites, lets face it, they were, don’t say other wise because they were.
5. Henry giving sass to Emma. I mean I felt bad for her but it was sort of funny. 😆Least Favorites:
1 Emma finding out Neal is engaged 😥
2. Emma convincing Gold to reveal the location of the dagger. Which if he would have just kept it to himself I bet you they would not have found it. Snow and Charming led them straight to it. So much for trusting family 🙄
3.I didn’t like the flashbacks that much. It served a purpose I suppose but never really liked that little girl’s acting. It could also be that I don’t really like Snow that much and the little girl plays her very well. 😐
4. Gold being mean to Henry. It actually makes me think he would actually go through with killing him if it comes to that point. 😯
5.Regina waving goodbye to her redemption. Evil Queen will return 😈Oh and almost forgot, I actually liked Snow when she said she would kill Cora. Her statement was pretty powerful. Dark Snow is a very interesting concept lets see if it does come to fruition.
March 4, 2013 at 3:29 am #176724KebParticipantYeah, I don’t think that the whole Emma persuading Gold to tell them the dagger’s location is going to end well…he’s trusted exactly one person, Bae, in his entire history; even Belle he hasn’t been able to completely trust, though he was starting to (when he told her about Bae in both FTL, and then actually said Baelfire’s name in the SB Library). I don’t think he actually trusted Belle with the dagger; he simply used her as a way to help himself remember if things went awry.
And now Emma’s convinced him to trust someone…and Cora has the dagger.

That whole “tick-tock” when Hook stabs Rumple was just cool, didn’t like how Gold reacted to Henry’s concern, finding out Cora’s been setting this whole thing up from the beginning was just crazy!
I missed the tick-tock remark–lost streaming feed during a couple scenes. 🙁 Oh,well,hello hulu!
And Cora–like teacher like student :geek: @Keb wrote:Such a dark, dark episode–but I was riveted, even having watched all the sneak peeks. Wow. I’m still letting it all sink in, though…

Totally agree w/ u on all that u said!!!!
@TheEvilOne:yeah,I agree they were hypocrites, but honestly it’s hard to forgive someone after all they’ve done!!!Not saying hypocrisy in their case or any case is acceptable, but I think they all tried(some more than others, yes),and there comes a point where you have to draw the line….Keeper of King George's Coat of arms;Tiny's pickaxe;Belle's bronze vase;Emma Hacker device and true love kiss to Henry;Granny's surcharge on pickles;Snow's "Good will always win;Regina's apple turnover;Gold's pink shirt,Mickey phone,&glasses(1x12);RQ's chess set,and Chip's shattered remains

First off, Regina has been getting more and more annoying. The scene where she claims that she was Queen and everyone else added the Evil to it–that was one of the dumbest things she said, and I’m glad Snow White didn’t both to feel guilty about that because she shouldn’t. Regina earned that title all on her own with her own actions.
And then her finally figuring out that Cora had planned for Snow White’s horse to go off on it’s own. I thought that was just stupid–she knows her mother. She knows what she is capable of. And yet she seems really slow to figure out what her mother has done.
Rumpelstiltskin snapping at Henry was extreme–I get that he fears Henry, but the boy was obviousky not at fault. This was all Captain Hook and Rumpelstiltskin’s feud.
Loved the Fairytale Land story–Bailee Madison seriously does great as young Snow White. The scene with her mother, Johanna, and the ‘Blue Fairy’ were just heartbreaking.
This was the first time in a long that the show had thrown a surprised twist–Cora as the Blue Fairy was a surprise that I got as soon as she gave Snow White the candle. But it as still all the more powerful to see her.
Also Ginnifer Goodwin–she was wonderful in the episode. Being patient and calm and kind–the last scene where she says she will kill Cora was cold and calm.
The scene where Johanna died was horrible–I knew she was doomed, but the way she died shocked me. And I truly hated both Regina and Cora in that scene.
Another plus was that there was no Greg–a huge relief
Overall, I think it was one of the best.

YOU obviously have never been near a patient in PAIN before. Gold had a poison hook thrust into his chest. He would not be nice to anyone … let alone a kid like Henry. (inquisitive and most time strong willed and pushy) Patients in severe pain draw inward and are usually unable to deal with anything but their pain. They tend to turn and be angry on those around them.
Frankly when I am hurt …. I am meaner than the devil… but I have the good sense to hide out in my home away from everyone. .

I agree. There have been times when I was in pretty severe physical pain and I was not as considerate to the people around me as I should have been. I thought the scene was perfectly in character. Gold is frightened, in pain, and remembering the Seer’s prophecy. So it is to be expected that he would snap at Henry. Of course, poor Henry knows none of this and is probably hurt and left wondering why his newly-discovered grandpa is so angry, which makes the scene all the more powerful.
As for my favorite moments, I thought all of Bailee Madison’s scenes were great. And I really liked seeing Snow and Regina talk in Granny’s.

Oh yeah Hook was all like “Tick-Tock time’s up crocodile!” That and that and Bae calling Rumple papa again made the episode for me then topping it off Bae can sail a pirate ship?! He has to be Peter Pan!
March 4, 2013 at 6:17 am #176787jbwood5ParticipantThe fact that the hint again at nealfire being pan again with him saying he knows how to captain a pirate ship. That to me is almost a give away with all the other evidence such as knowing he was in neverland and his father hiding his dagger in a clock tower that is stuck at 8:15. Too much evidence.
