I have mixed feelings about Snow wanting to kill Cora.I’m glad she’s starting to become active like she was in the first season back stories.Being good doesn’t always require you to be in the passive voice(not the grammar type of passive voice).BUT the reasons why Snow is going about it is not pure. It’s vengeful. She needs her heart strengthend against the lure of evil.

She’s a human being. Good luck.
Oh I did too. Again, I really don’t think Regina should be given another chance after that; although, I know she will be.
Are you speaking of Regina and Cora using Johanna’s heart to coerce Snow in giving up the dagger?
Or are you referring to Cora’s murder of Johanna, which took Regina by surprise?
March 4, 2013 at 9:47 pm #177069wewerecursedParticipantI’m going to try to avoid the Regina argument as much as possible, lol.
Favorites:
Baylee. Madison. That child, I love her. What’s amazing is she doesn’t just nail Snow White, she nails Ginnifer Goodwin How are they not related? Lol. Her little bratty scene was well done without going overboard, but the scenes where Eva dies and during the funeral should win that girl an award of some kind.Speaking of Ginny Goodwin, she’s was excellent, as usual. Her reaction to Johanna’s death was beyond heartbreaking, and her speech at the end was chilling. I can’t WAIT to see her next week!
I’m sorry, so sorry…but Johanna being tossed out the window. It was just such a shock! I was like, waaait, no they’re not going to let her go and “HOLY CRAP!” I hated it…but it was a great scene altogether.
Regina’s face both when Cora told Snow why she killed Eva and when Johanna flew out the window. I think she actually though they were going to let her go.
Henry’s sass. Lol he kinda sounded like his adopted mom!
Emma rubbing her head when Neal tells her why he can sail a pirate ship. That poor woman, I don’t blame her for the headache.
Hook getting bested by Emma AGAIN with an umbrella stand. I love him, but someone should revoke his villain card.
Emma calling Hook a stab-happy pirate.
Least favorites:
Regina saying “you are who put Evil in my name” or however she put it. That was just…ignorant. She’s done horrible things, she earned that title fair and square. Besides, she wasn’t “always” the queen. Snow was the rightful queen.
THE STINKING FIANCE. Did we really need a love triangle like that this season? Wasn’t MM/David/Katherine bad enough? It’s just so…ugh. Contrived?
The fact that Emma wasn’t around on her mother’s birthday. 🙁
The fact that we have to wait a week for the next episode!!
March 4, 2013 at 11:28 pm #177132mich7ParticipantFavorite moment…finding out that Cora was the BF…totally unexpected on my part.
Least favorite…Tamara…knew it was coming from spoilers but triangles are so overused these days and was not looking forward to it and didn’t like it when I saw it since it looked like Emma was finally beginning to warm to Neal some.March 4, 2013 at 11:39 pm #177140the fairestParticipantMy poor Snow. 😥 This was such an amazing episode for her.

-Snow declaring she’s going to kill Cora.
-Snow’s final moments with her mother.
-Snow at Queen Eva’s funeral.
-The conversation between Snow and the Blue Fairy
-Cora talking to Queen Eva’s corpse.
-The conversations between Mr. Gold and Emma.
-The conversations between Neal and Emma.
-Queen Eva teaching little Snow love and respect.
-Neal calling Rumpel “papa.”Least Favorite Moments:
-Cora killing Johanna.
-Regina turning down Snow’s peace offering.
-Mr. Gold being mean to Henry.
-Hook stabbing Mr. Gold.
-The fact that it was Cora who murdered Queen Eva.March 4, 2013 at 11:46 pm #177143an empty heartParticipantDue to recent unpleasant spoilers about next week’s episode, I’m only going to list my favorite scenes from last night’s episode. I haven’t the strength to list anything more. 😆
-Baelfire calling his father “papa” again.
-Neal’s little nod to Neverland (he is so Peter Pan)
-Neal and Emma reconnecting on the streets of New York.
-Emma having a surprisingly amount of sympathy towards Mr. Gold. She called him family! 😀
-Snow putting on a brave face at her mother’s funeral.
-Snow refusing to use the evil candle to save Eva’s life.
-Mr. Gold and Emma’s little heart to heart.
-Snow and Johanna’s scene at the beginning of the episode.
-The big showdown between Snow, Charming, Cora and Regina. So emotional.
-Holy crap. Hook actually accomplished something. 😆
March 5, 2013 at 12:21 am #177158tammythebearParticipantFavorite parts:
– Bailee Madison- AMAZING as little Snow all around…
– Ginnifer Goodwin going “dark”… I love it!! She always plays the good girl- I want to see the dark side!!!
– Neal calling Rumple “Papa”
– Both of Emma and Gold’s conversations- He totally ships Neal and Emma and SHE called him family!! They always seem to get along- even when they aren’t getting along (like in Manhattan)
-The Pizza scene between Neal and Henry.. so cute!
-“Lfie is full of suprises” and accompanied joint smilingLeast Favs:
-Rumple being mean to Henry after pizza (I saw the spoiler on Twitter and I wanted it to be happy!!) and then scared the ____ out of him.
-Henry’s comment to Emma after Pizza… I really wanted someone to call him on this attitude- if not Emma then Neal needs to step in and be his Dad… just saying….
-Cora in general… sorry her character annoys me, and the actress plays it a little too “soup opera”
-Hook pushing Emma.. completely stupid scene, although partially redeemed by her hitting him with a can! I am not really a fan of the character- but I REALLY want them to write him better so he isn’t such a wuss.
-Tamara’s scene… Like I said in a different post- the air was sucked out of the scene when she entered. I would have liked them to make her introduction ALOT better.. not having her follow him and say “I’m glad I caught you” and eye Emma like she is either going to eat her for dinner or she wants to ask her for drinks. Poorly done in my opinion (and I’m not saying that as a SwanFire shipper- it was crap, let’s call it crap).. And someone PLEASE explain to me what happened to her accent? Wasn’t she supposed to have one? I was confusedMarch 5, 2013 at 12:27 am #177161swanning-offParticipant@L Jones wrote:
She learned her magic from the Dark One, uses Dark Magic constantly, has no hesitation in manipulating everyone in the world(s) to get what she wants.
I don’t believe in the concept of “Dark Magic”. I don’t believe that anything described as “dark” is automatically evil. And I don’t believe that magic is “good” or “evil”. I think it all depends upon the intent and the results of the person who uses magic.
What we have seen so far suggests that Storybrooke’s residents see magic as Dark and Good – and magical beings as falling into those categories. All the references to magic so far on OUAT have fallen into Dark Magic (from the Dark One or those he’s trained – Cora, Regina) and Good/Fairy Magic (seen in Blue, Nova, Emma’s “love is strength” stuff).
Now I would LOVE to see, via reveals that the Blue Fairy is not as nice as she seems, that there is actually just magic and it’s the intention of the person who makes it Dark or Good magic. That would be awesome, and would tie in nicely with the shows theme that bad characters are not 100% bad and good characters are not 100% good.
A clue that this could be the ultimate point is that magic is always purple on this show. Good or Dark – the special effects used to signify magic are purple.
March 5, 2013 at 1:20 am #177169sacrlcParticipantPurple is definately used a lot – (dark magic?) but the magic that Rumple created by pouring the potion into the well was green, I believe.
Don't grow up. It's a trap.
March 5, 2013 at 1:25 am #177170KebParticipantNah, it was purple. However, magic from other worlds has had other colors–magic from Wonderland seems to be blue (at least the mushroom stuff is).
