this is why I can not believe that Neal is really dead…

They’ve left the specifics delightfully vague. Was Rumple really ever dead in any way, shape or form? Because if not, then the “life for a life” thing wasn’t technically one person being brought back to life and another one dying, it was one person being dragged out of the DO Vault, and another person having to take their place in there? And if Rumple wasn’t actually “dead” when he was in there, then logically, Neal’s not really “dead” either, he’s just trapped in the Vault? But we got no indication of Rumple’s body having been outside the Vault, but Neal’s very definitely lying on the forest floor. Then again, Rumple was the Dark One and Neal was just a mortal, so maybe the same body vanishing rules don’t apply for both? Magic + logic = headache.

Magical handwaving. It will never be explained or explored. It was thought up as a way to kill Neal and return Rumple.

I just made a screenshoot of the cover of the book which contained the key of the vault. Does anyone have any idea what this might mean?

I think the “I. N.” could be an abbreviation for “in nomine”, “in natura”, “in nuce” or something like that. But the rest? I have no idea.

It reminds me of the Starbucks logo. Coffee is the source of writers’ power.

Here is how it looks to me:

    a aky acaz ca kawo

I plugged it into Google translate, but didn’t get a clear translation. The language detected might be the Hausa language, spoken in Chad, in Africa. “kawo” means “bring” in English.

hmm double tailed merman with a bird head why am I thinking Harpy/Greek siren.? Harpies or the Furies (is what the whip reminds me of)  do have an underworld connection being the Servants of Hades. Whom torment/chase after people who’ve done horrible crimes like killing there parent(s) or something worse. [Lots of Tragic myths/plays involve them. ] OR some being had a big beef with someone.

The first time we saw the vault in the preview, it actually reminded me of the seal from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.  When you think about both “vaults” they’re both doors to other words.  Rumple was dead but the only way he could be brought back was through this vault, so maybe it like the seal from Buffy, it was a portal between physical world and the underworld.

Hey everyone, great episode. I ‘ve been looking around the internet and found what I think this is, its called a A GNOSTIC AMIJLET  or amulet, the  symbol of Abraxas relates to a ancient God/Devil Composite  life, death and ultimate darkness and light . The most interesting thing is that supposedly reperesents the 365 days of the year and 365 worlds that exist. Isn’t Rumple supposed to be about 365  years old?  Anyway,  after reading many obscure articles I gather that  along with the image of the man with cocks head and serpentine legs, often inscriptions in greek would follow like IAW meaning IAO so  I came across an image that look like same symbol on the book attached. So my guess is that its some ancient greek  letters that represent gods, magic priniciples  I   A AY ACAZ  CAKAWθ  no idea what the letters would stand for just thinking based on this picture
