    I just did a rewatch of CHILD OF THE MOON…. My theory of how RUBY/ RED got out was that SPENCER / George released her …..Yes there were claw marks on the various walls. But the only way Spencer / George would know that Ruby would be blamed is if he timed Gus’s murder to a time she had no alibi….. So she would have to be released in order for her to be blamed.

    Agreed, since Spencer/George sought to frame Ruby for the murder of Gus, Spencer most certainly would’ve released her from her make-shift cage. He wouldn’t have left it to chance that she may not have gotten out on her own accord.

    I like that, Nonnie!

    It bothered me that Spencer’s whole plot rested on possibilities rather than certainties, but with your idea, you plugged what I thought was a huge hole.
