I forgot to say in my earlier post…the dreamcatcher thing is an amazing catch. I had no idea Regina has a dreamcatcher necklace.

The problem, like you said is the lack of interaction. If I hadn’t read the thread I would not have thought of the pairing (maybe the writers don’t want us guessing/shipping them yet – probably not but if it is and they did this on purpose I would be impressed).

Now that i’ve actually realised this is a possibility I will be more on the look out for hints when I re-watch the show during the hiatus.

THIS is pretty much exactly how I felt yesterday! I’m definitely going to be on the lookout for a lot of shipper stuff already but I’m definitely adding these 2 to my list for rewatch. You’re right, I forgot that Cora specifically said she wanted Regina broken too! How convenient when episode titles match up to multiple characters as well as simply having the curse be “broken” too.

Edited to add: I’ve heard the dreamcatcher necklace thing in a few places now but am trying to pinpoint what ep it was in to find an actual screenshot. I know sometimes things look one way and turn out to be just the same general shape (and if it’s the one I’m thinking of now it has a similar shape but I’m not sure I’d call it that). I’m waiting to hear back from someone who mentioned it elsewhere but regardless if the necklace pans out or not, we have seen Regina have nightmares and we’ve heard from Neal that he suffers from them which is why he likes dreamcatchers so there is still that connection at least which is a strong one. The only others we’ve seen that suffer from nightmares were put under the sleeping curse and as far as we know, neither Neal nor Regina ever were.

I’ll keep an eye out on my rewatch to have a better idea of the ins and outs of the FireQueen potential but there do seem to be a lot of basic things so far that don’t have any huge red flags for me yet like there have been in other pairings (but again, we don’t have much interaction to work with either, grr). Time will tell but I’m loving the idea!
