Emilie’s not a big fan of singing. I’m sure I read somewhere that on Lost she really had to be persuaded to sing a couple of lines. If that is indeed true, then I can’t see Belle singing an entire song.
Bobby is the obvious one. He’s done singing for a role before but Rumple just doesn’t seem like the singing type.
This episode is going to be compared to Buffy’s musical episode and it is going to lose. OUAT lacks the character consistency that Buffy had.

Keeper of FelixI don’t like the idea of a musical episode because I like it when the show has dark undertones and singing is not dark (Which this Season seems to be). I also enjoy light things on the show but singing is taking it a bit too far even for Once. I’m at least hoping the musical episode is either non-canon or a dream but hopefully the former.
Glenn Slater, one of Alan Menken’s regular lyricists (the same one he worked with on Galavant), confirmed that he’s not involved. Alan Menken could still be up in the air, but I’m now going with unlikely:
Nope. But I'm really, really looking forward to hearing @KarenDavid sing again! https://t.co/wQkclNbxfy

Note he’s probably just assuming that Karen will be singing, so I wouldn’t take it as confirmation that she is.

Boooooooooo

I figure the characters wont be singing of their own choice but by some magical force. Like how in buffy the demon guy compelled everyone to sing against their will.

Sure, but you still got to get Bobby to agree. I think that’s what most of us (and many others) are saying. Whenever the question comes up, Bobby always seems to back off of it.

In Buffy, Alyson Hannigan really didn’t want to sing and begged not to be made to sing. That’s why Willow doesn’t have a song of her own and only gets a line of singing in the group song.

Keeper of FelixMusical episode is 6×20.
Please tell me it’s not really called “The Musical Episode”

Sounds like a working title to me, so I hope it isn’t the actual title.
