THIS post might be premature…. but what are the lingering questions from season ONE?
What back stories do we not know that we want or need to know ???
I want to know the back story of how Gold and Regina know each other?
Still want to know how Regina got her magic…..

I’m also curious to see the story behind Rumpel and Regina’s rivalry. I’m leaning towards Rumpel gave Regina her magical powers, but I’m still not sure. But Cora being the original millers daughter is a big clue. 😉May 7, 2012 at 11:40 pm #145875imported_belleParticipant
I would like to see Cora’s story of the things she sacrificed to gain her wealth and power.May 15, 2012 at 12:11 am #146818
There’s still more to tell about Red’s backstory. The relationship Regina had with Maleficent. How the blind witch got a hold of the apple? There is also a gap of at least 7 years form when Young Snow meeting Regina to when Leopold is murdered. Princess Abilgail and Frederick and what the hell happened to King Midas????May 15, 2012 at 12:12 am #146819
Oh yeah how does Regina know King george?May 15, 2012 at 12:13 pm #146892SlurpeezParticipant
I have a feeling that King George is Regina’s step-father (who married Cora, a miller’s daughter, for her supposed ability to turn straw into Gold in the Rumpelstiltskin fairytale). I think Cora then had an affair with her valet/servant, Regina’s father, Henry Sr. King George is obsessed with gold, so much so that he wanted to make his son marry for wealth promised by King Midas. In the Rumpel fairytale, the king who marries the miller’s daughter is also obsessed with gold.
Also, I have a thought that perhaps King Midas will be turned to gold by accident.
Some of the things I want to know are what happened to Baelfire and who Henry’s dad is. I’d also like to know if Emma or Regina will discover Rumpel’s knife. Is there going to be a stand-off between Emma and Regina over Henry? The last time Henry nearly died. I’m looking forward to Emma being reunited to her parents, Snow and Charming, and introducing them to their grandson, Henry. Finally, what’s going to happen now that magic has come to SB?

I also want to know what REALLY happened to Belle after she left the dark castle – and Cora’s origin story (and the “Official” Rumplestiltskin story) would be great to see played out.
I also think there’s a lot of unanswered questions about Jefferson – how did he get to be a magical Hatter, and how does Alice fit into his story? (Also how did he know about Belle, and where did he go when he fell into the hat in SB?)
And of course, I’m excited for Ariel 🙂May 15, 2012 at 7:52 pm #146946true believerParticipant
I REALLY want to see Emma’s back story. She seems to have come from such a troubled past, and I think it would be really interesting:) also more Snow and Charming, what can I say?May 27, 2012 at 7:15 pm #147869darcyfarrowParticipant
I want to know about the “original source.” Where did the BF get her magic, what powers did she have in the beginning, how did the first Dark One come to be, who does the BF answer to.June 2, 2012 at 4:05 pm #148205
The Sleeping Beauty story was mentioned when Regina fought with Maleficent, since the seed was planted it would be nice to see the story and how Mal “redeemed herself”. Regina mentioned to Rumple that she needed help with a mermaid so it sets up the Little Mermaid story. Finally, it would be interesting to find out what happen to Abigail and Freddy, Midas and George. We at least know a little more about George but the prior three had major arcs and then as suddenly as they were introduced they were visibly missing they could somehow be a part of the current arc if written in but nevertheless their absences are loose ends.
