I just think that the way it happened in the episode where they showed the phone call and then showed August with Henry made it seem like those two things were connected. Otherwise August and Henry standing there by the corner seems really random to me.
I think he was calling Jefferson
There where some pictures that showed Jefferson talking to August there was a cut scene in Hat Trick of them..So i really think they are working together in the PLAN http://www.spoilertv.co.uk/images/cache/once-upon-a-time/season-1/promotional-episode-photos/Episode%201.17%20-%20Hat%20Trick/127282_8168_pre_FULL.jpg
It seems like the obvious characters we are missing who would know about the curse and would therefore be coaching August are Bae, Jefferson, Pinocchio, whoever wrote Henry’s book (if it’s not August).
Also the people we know who know about the curse in Storybrooke are Regina, Mr. Gold, Jefferson, and probably the Blue Fairy/Mother Superior because she seems to have even more power or at least the same amount as Regina and Rumple.
He could be calling any of them or of course . . . the Blue Fairy/Mother Superior is the obvious answer

I think he called Henry because in the next scene August and Henry are talking about getting Emma to believe.
Hmmm that would be something that they’d do to us make us run around thinking it could be someone else like Bae when it was just Henry and they’re just setting up the next scene
I agree – I think it was Henry!
As some people already mention, August dialed a 3-digit number. To me it seems like the first number may have been 5, 6 or 7 & the other two digits could have been 11. In Wikipedia there’s an article about N11 numbers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N11_code. Now, could it be that the nuns have a side job as phone operators for traffic information (5-1-1)? Right now I don’t remember how they get their incomes apart form selling candles. But another thought is that if Jefferson is still in SB maybe he could have paid for a special 3-digit number.
It seems over thinking the editing to try and guess how many numbers August dialed.
I think he called Mother Superior.
Though every time I see this thread title in the list of active topics, I feel the urge to say, “Ghostbusters!” 😛
Yup, I vote Mother Superior, but even if it’s not her I definitely don’t think it’s Henry. The sense I got was that we were meant to initially think that it was Henry and then question that later. The way he’s talking doesn’t strike me as how you’d talk to a ten-year-old. If you contrast the next scene, the tone and language he uses with Henry is very different to the phone call. Whereas, if you look at the conversation between him and the Mother Superior later, it matches in terms of urgency and tone much more closely.
Also the way he sounds relieved that the other person is there makes it feel as though it’s someone who actually has power to help him.
@ phee…. Hysterical!!!
uuuuugh you’re so right, Stelio! We can never tell if something really is innocent and obvious and simple or if they just want us to think it is! *pulls hair*
